End of last week some Asda's(not all) were selling Baileys 1/2L bottles for £4. Not sure if offer is still on.

Might be a bit late for everyone but The Book People has free next day delivery up until 29/10 code POST123. Just bought a total of 22 books for £26.

Just been to Sainsburys all toys half price.

I got star wars lego, Power Miners Lego, ben 10 figures, starwars figures for DS Adam, a couple of dolls for friends.

Spent just over £60

Then DH went in and spent another £25 on star wars figures

It was really quiet as we went at 8am and the lady said they had loads more to put out

Good Sale

We are now off to the Metro Centre to see if we can find any more bargains and then this afternoon we are seein UP

Bought Ds 14 a Fujji 12 mp camera yesterday from Tesco Direct. £67 instead of £97 and as I had it delivered to local store, I saved £5 delivery. Looks like a nice little camera for a first timer.

Wow! that Sainsburys sale is the best of the season, think I will pop there this afternoon. I just went on the website and every single toy is out of stock. I even had stuff in my basket and when I went to pay they had all gone

Thanks for this, I just ordered some Beast Quest books for my nephew. 3 for £5 with free delivery. They are £5 each in the high street.

Also if anyone is looking at getting Dan Brown latest book, The lost symbol....it is currently £8 (free p&p) on Amazon. That is the cheapest I have found it.

I braved my local sainsburys sava centre and it was manic!

Managed to get loads of toys for about £60, all half price. Including Barbie set, waybaloo playsets, keytweens playsets and tons of Peppa Pig

my dad went to his local sainsburys this morning at about 8.30 to try and get dd the Peppa Pig Princess Castle and he came away empty handed. He described a scene of carnage with people taking things out of other peoples trolleys with lots of pushing and shoving going on I'm hoping they replenish the stock as it would be a great buy, dd is peppa pig crazy at the minute.

I went to our local Sainsbury's and the shelves were stripped. I wanted the Dyson for DD but no luck. Other places will follow with sales in the run-up to Christmas, so I'm not too worried.

Nothing has changed there then. I worked in Sainsburys for 9 years & the 1/2 price toy sale is a knightmare The staff can't stock the shelves quick enough, the aisle looks like a bombs hit it, people are very greedy & buy loads to sell on for profit or bring them all back the following week. I'm so glad I don't work there anymore.

This is obviously a glitch in Sainsbury's and it might be our local store only but Monopoly was £1.24 this morning! I bought the last one!
