Christmas at the Poly

Well, it's done!. I have booked Poly LGV Concierge for 12/23 - 12/27, Christmas in the tropics (sort of). We have been to WDW 20+ times and have never stayed at this resort. We loved Boardwalk, Dixie Landing and recently stayed at WL this past July 4th.

Questions, is this the right resort for a 12yr old girl and 16 yr old boy? Is there a hot tub/whirlpool? Should I request a certain room or building (not familiar where the concierge rooms are) Is the xtra $ worth it for concierge or lagoon view? This is the first year that we will be there after all the MVMCP are over. Will the Christmas Parade be shown regularly or is it the same daytime parade? What about the shows? Thank you all for your help.

The ONLY bad thing about the Poly is that there is no whirlpool or hot tub. Hard to believe with such a nice, new pool. The good news is that the Poly is an absolutely great place for a family, no matter what the time of year. You will remember this Christmas always. As for rooms, some great lagoon view roos are from 3501-3510. These are third floor balcony rooms. The first floor patio rooms are (I think) 1501-1510. We have 13 and 15 year old kids and would not hesitate to bring them to the Poly. Have a great time!

Well let me see if I can help. My kids are 14 and 12 and they love the Polynesian.
There is no hot tub or whirpool.
I think at that time the concierge will still be in the Hawaii building. First floor and second floor are non smoking, and third floor is smoking optional. Third floor has balconies, second does not.
They do show the Christmas parade, I believe at 3:00 in the afternoon thru at least the 25th of Dec.
We have stayed at all of the resorts you mentioned and out of all of them the Polynesian is our favorite.
