Having been to Disney 3 times, going in Sept & Oct and have had a FANTASTIC time every trip.:cloud9:
We have now decided that we MUST go for Christmas after reading on the discussion forum what a great time everyone else has had at Magic Kingdom at this time of year.
I have a question and hope that someone might be able to help me with this.
The question is about Mickeys Very Merry Christmas Parade -: Is this parade on every day in december or is it only on for a few weeks (1 week before christmas & 1week after Christmas).

Generally all the holiday stuff is on from the last week in Nov to the first week in Jan i believe. Mickeys Very Merry Christmas Parade only takes place at Mickeys Very Merry Christmas Party which is a specially ticketed event - its on selected evenings. This year they started around the mid/end nov and carried on to the end of Dec! I went on the 7th and had a great time!!

We never went to the party because it finishes a couple of days before christmas. They do have a christmas themed parade during the day where everything is around christmas. If you can, try and do mk before xmas day as between xmas and new year it can get very busy, so if you want to do the rides try and do them before then.

Having just come back from Disney they do have the same parade on on xmas day i believe that they have at MVMCP. Someone will correct me if i am wrong. We went to MVMCP on the 15th and it was good but i prefer the MNSSHP, the parade was good but we missed bits out that we caught on xmas day i.e the show on the castle and others.

the mickeys very merry chrismas parade was also on xmas day, boxing etc i saw it about 4 times lolol
the party was really good i'd do it again but i did feel abit ripped off as alot of the shows were done during xmas same with the fireworks during the party was also done xmas day so on and on,

The Christmas Parade is part of Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party (hard ticket event) which runs on selected nights from mid November thru to the start of Christmas week, the parade then runs daily instead of the normal parade. Basically it is a trade off, pay extra to see it at the party with moderate crowds (and at night) or face the Christmas week crowds and see it during the day.
