Christmas at FW...Do they do anything special

We are so excited....This is our first Christmas at Fort Wilderness (we usually go the 2nd week of December). What I was wondering was if they do anything special like they do on other Holidays. We have our dinner reserved for Trails End but didn't know if there were any activities during the day for the kids.

Thanks even though they are from 2007 gives me some idea of what other resorts are doing but nothing was listed for Fort Wilderness. :-(

Here's hoping they do something on at Fort Wilderness!!! I do not want to really resort hop for activities. Was hoping to relax at the Fort then go to a park later on late afternoon/early evening.

There are some activities during Christmas at FW.
1. Contest for the best decorated site and cabin
2. Special crafts and other activities
3. Cookies and punch at the Meadows store
4. A ladies choral group was singing Christmas carols at the Settlement at certain times last year.

There also is a sleigh ride but it is not free.

As always looping at Christmas time is fun for viewing all the decorated sites.

There is usually a schedule of events posted at the comfort stations.
