I just got back from another trip to Disney and we had a blast! I also just found out my folks bought a Condo in Sarasota so we now have free lodging....yaaa! I have always wanted to spend Christmas in Disney while the kidos are on vaca. I have a few questions, are they open Christmas eve/day? Do they do anything special on those days? What about New Years, is Pleasure Island the place to be or should we stay with the kids and do the parks?
Thanks for any help you can give!

next trip....Christmas 2005!!! I can't wait!!!

Disney is open everyday. Christmas Day and New Year's Eve are the most crowded days of the year, and often one or more parks close due to capacity. Heavy crowds and long lines are not something I would want to do on Christmas, but tens of thousands of people do.
Pleasure Island has a New Year's Eve party, but I believe it is more adult orientated and costs around $80/person. They have bands, usually from the 80's, and a special countdown and fireworks show at midnight.
