Our time to spend at Disney was around the end of Halloween or the beginning of Christmas- and since we did Disney at Halloween last October, we decided on Christmas.....but we will be there at the very start of the season, November 10th. Will any of the resorts be decorated by then? I know we will be able to do MVMCP and the Osbourne Family Spectacle, but I wonder about the resort decorations. Anyone have any past experience with this?
Thank you!

November 10 is kind of early. How many days? In 2012 Wilderness Lodge was not decorated on the 11th but over night they put up the tree and they kept adding until we checked out on the 13th. I've been reading that decorations have been going up later the last couple of years.

Well, I was able to reserve Whispering Canyon on our last day, so hopefully Wilderness Lodge will be decorated!

We were in WDW last year from November 10-14 last year. Unfortunately, the resorts we saw were not decorated at this time (we stayed at the BWI and visited several other resorts for dining including YC/BC, GF, and Poly). They were putting up the large gingerbread house display in the GF which was fun to watch (and smell!) even though it wasn't completed yet. The parks were all decorated by the time we left, which was really magical. I'd asked the front desk at the BWI when they decorate and was told the week of Thanksgiving, so I think the hotels are completed later than the parks on a rolling schedule. Enjoy, we had SUCH a great time visiting for the season!

Aww darn it- doesn't sound good for resort decor, but oh well it is going to be so much fun anyway!!! The waiting is so hard! Thanks for the info!

We were at BWV last November 1 thru 9, we had Halloween related decorations to the 3rd. They were setting up Osbourn Dsiplay but no christmas decorations anywhere along Boardwalk. It was also close of food and wine.

We always stay during Nov. The last time we stayed it was the week of Veteran's day (Nov 11th). They had the decorations out then. This year we are going on the 14th. They already have the schedules for the parks so you could look at the days that say close at 7pm and feel assured that that's the nights of the Christmas Party. The first night the party starts on Nov. 8th so they will have the parks decorated for sure. you can't have a Christmas Party without the decorations! :santa:

For those of you that are regular November visitors, is the weather usually warm enough to use the pools?

It has been for us. But then again, as long as it's above 40 my son and I are swimming. My wife, not so much. The pools are heated to 82, so just be prepared for when you get out.

In November we've had days with a high of 80 and days with a high of 42.

We are heading to WDW just before Thanksgiving and I am excited that we'll get to see holiday decor! Hoping our resort will be decorated! :)
