Christmas and New Years in Disney

Hello, my family is planning a visit to Anaheim/San Diego for Christmas/New Years 2012. I'm looking for suggestions on what to avoid AND what to look for on December 25th and 31st.

This is our 3rd visit but our first during a peak time so it feels like we are newbies all over again!
