Christmas and check in dates

I see that Value season runs until December 19th this year. Last year, there were room only codes available until check in date of December 25th. If you check in on December 19th, when the rate is at it's lowest, does that mean your whole stay will be at that rate. Assuming of course you can get it.

Also, if you check in on the 24th or 25th, when rates are higher, but still at a discount, again, will the rate for your whole stay be at the rate of the first date of check in?

Your rates are always at the date of check-in.

Assuming the values are done the same way as the deluxes, yes. We stayed at the Poly and checked in on the 19th and got the entire rate at the rate of $229 whereas we were originally booked from the 21st at $429.

We stayed at AKL this past Xmas and began during value season ($151 a night for Sav. view room). It switched to Holiday season for the last 3 nights of our stay ($350+ a night, but we still got the room for $151 a night).
