ummmm Michelle, I wonder if this is a message? You have no set plans? You are flexible?

We are totally winging it! I'm sick of making ADRs and cancelling them. I sick of planning the park for the day and heading elsewhere. Our weekend at POP, AK was the only park we went to...twice.

My only plan since we pre-purchased the photopass CD is to get lots of pics taken. We have over 100 pics from the weekend, and our next weekend falls within the 30 day time period!!! I entered the pictures from our weekend into Photopass yesterday so we have 'til the 18th to order. We got We got 44 pictures taken at AK over those 2 days!

I will try and get Michelle and Susan's done tonight.

Ann, we could meet up on a Monday on a weekend that dh has off during your vacation. But I wouldn't want to hold you up, we move slower with Anakin, especially if he is walking and not using the medical stroller. He and Zoe would probably hit it off great! His GAC sends us to different entrances, but it's good for up to 6 people and it's usually just the 3 of us. So you, dh and Zoe would be able to go with us, or are the other kids going on vacation too?

I hate to be the burden of bad news on what looks like it might be a wonderful time of the year for being at Disney World but our vacation has been postpone until March. We still don't have any job offers just yet for me to continue my trip but the phone interview that should of happened this week will be done on Monday so hopefully that will be some good news. It is for a job with Northrop Grumman so hopefully it will work out if it does it will mean a move for us once again and this time it will be going back to the East Coast for my family and I.. At least I will be closer to DW.

At least I will be there for the Epcot International Flower and Garden Showcase.. I missed it when we went to DW for my birthday back in 2009. This year it actually starts on my birthday so I will be able to see it this year. So far the dates that I am looking at is March 15 - March 23

Okay, I got mine and Betsy's and Ashleys info into the spreadsheet. it is a bit more complicated for me because there is really more than two variables per cell that I need. It isn't as pretty as I like, but already I am seeing things more clearly. Sorry.. a bit selfish of me to be able to look and see who is there when I am.

So what see is that Ashley and I will be in MK on the night of 12/19. I bet we talked about this already? Hmm...this last week has been such a blur.

We are a family of 4 on this trip. Alex and Steve are wild cards though. I would (in a perfect world) spend all our time together, but I am preparing myself for the fact it is likely to be Zoe and I alone most of the time...or at least first thing in the morning.

I have seen the GAC mentioned before, I know it has to do with disabilities, but do you mind elaborating? Zoe is for the most part a healthy little girl, but as you know she does have her medical issues. Technically, I believe she is considered to have a disability. I will need to bring her medical supplies with us to the parks. Is this something we should look into? Or is it for mobility issues (which Zoe does not have)

I know I have very few friends who like Disney (actually only one) That one friend would love to go, but cant right now...so it is kinda sad for me to talk about my trip. (just yesterday we met for lunch and her teen age daughter). When her daughter learned how soon we were going she started saying I was rubbing it in. I know she mostly was joking, but it still made me feel bad. I just want to share how excited I am... and so really there is you gals and Kira. When I was trying to get pregnant with Zoe, I had no one else in my life also not only trying to get pregnant...but having difficulties doing so. I turned to a ttc board and it was a godsend. When sil out of the blue turned up pregnant (thankfully at the same time I did) I would have been far less able to "deal" with that if I did not have all the friends online I did that had supported me all the time I was trying.

As for the night of the 19th... how late do you plan to stay at MK. You plan on seeing wishes... and then there is EMH. Do you plan to stay for EMH? We have dinner at Kona at 7pm. From there I have no real plans. We could meet up after that?

How did I get so far behind on your report in such a short time? If you want to wear your hair up instead of cutting it have you tried hairspray? I use this dove one that doesn't make your hair stiff, but still works for my fine flyaways! Or you could try using clips to keep them together?

I enjoy the cs att Yak and yeti. Good portions (enough to share really) and the food doesn't taste half bad. Now... the cs in china.. I dont like. The cs in Japan... it is..okay. We ate there last trip and I remember I wasn't impressed by something. HMMM... I may have to go back and read my own TR.

Speaking of my last TR... I hope to do a better job with my next one. I have such a hard time finding anything in it. Sure I tried to come up with appropriate and clever chapter names, but... they don't make it easy to determine what park we are in or where we may have ate.

Yeah I want to be more organized in my TR than I am in my PTR! So Yak and Yeti is on the list!

You know I just told my SIL the other night that you guys have been there for me a little more for venting than any of my friends! And she said that it's dangerous telling my whole business to the world and for all I know all of you could live next door to me and be stalking me (not really because I know my neighbors)! But I laughed and told her I don't think so because we all vent and let things out and talk and swap ideas! It's not like we are just doing whatever! But yeah I find it odd to make friends with people on the internet, but you have all become friends ! And anyway, we are meeting and talking about Disney! Not a dark ally or anything!

Exactly. It's people that can understand and give you am "ehug" when you need it. That aren't too close to any of the situations, so we can give you unbiased advice.

We're staying at the parks as long as Alexa will let us. She's good with naps, so I'm hoping she'll nap in the afternoons in her stroller. She normally stays up till 9:30 - 10, so we're hoping the EMH won't be a problem. I'd love to try for a meet up!

Well today i canceled my Christmas trip but I was able to book my March trip. During this trip I will be able to see the Flower show which I can't wait to see plus we will be celebrating my daughters 15th bday while we are there. I plan to do something special for her during that time but I have no idea what yet.

We have dates where we will be staying at VWL, AKL-KV with a Savaana View, then back to VWL for the last two nights of our trip. I'm looking at booking our arrival night for BLT with two studios one for my family and the other for my parents. I think this is a better trip for my family and I.

I will just have to schedule our Christmas trip to DW for my daughter's graduation in two years. That trip will be a land and sea trip.. Now that one will be so fun to plan.

I hope all you guys who are going during the month of Dec will have a blast make sure you think of me when you are enjoying yourself out there.

Ann, I can so relate to others not understanding our online friendships. I am not sure I would meet with anyone I would meet on "some" board, but I have only met wonderful people here on this board and another Disney board.
And since we all share the same addicion and have been helping each other out for quite a while, it feels like we are already old friends.
I LOVE my DISfriends!

As for a surprise meal for your daughter .....
what about CRT? Would your daughter like that?
But then looking at her age, maybe the California Grill would be more apropriate?
If you time it right you could walk outside and watch Wishes from the top of the Contemporary.
A little more low key, try the Grand Floridian Cafe. You could order your daughter a Mini Castle Cake (serves 1) as a surprise birthday cake. My friend did that for her daughter and she really loved it.

If you are thinking in room surprise ..... have you tried the Disney Florist? It's a bit on the pricy side, but the things they do are just wonderful.
