Christmas 2016

With Christmas falling on a Sunday in 2016 does anyone have any thoughts on how that will affect the Disney Christmas crowds? We were planning a 2016 trip and for some reason I get this thought that going the week leading up to Christmas while the kids are off will be a good idea...than my visions of horrible crowds start to kick in. We went two years ago the full week before Christmas week(Christmas fell on a Wednesday) and the crowds were great and we had an amazing time. I just really don't want to pull the kids from school.

They have not published our 2016-2017 school schedule yet, but I am assuming the break will be the full week before Christmas and then back at school starting Monday January 2nd. Does that sound similar to what most schools will be doing?

If your kids are out of school, others will be out of school. It will be very busy, but not nearly as busy as the week between Christmas and New Year's.

Our schools went through the 22nd this year and didn't start again until the 6th. It's all over the board.

Our schools Go until the 22nd this year too so it might not be to bad.

Here in Vegas our kiddos are off December 20-January 1st. Also considering a trip for the 20th-27th and wondering about the crowds the week before Christmas.​
