We are planning our 4th trip to disneyland at Christmas. Does anyone know if you can park at hotels near by and if they are cheaper than at the park? We want to make sure we can get into the park on Christmas day...

Thanks!!

I'm not sure I understand what parking has to do with getting into the Park, but to answer your question: Most of the motels on Harbor have parking for their guests only. I believe many charge.

What connection are you making between parking at a nearby hotel and getting admission to the Park? (If I knew, I might be able to help better.)

Like dreams said, i don't think you can park at a hotel unless you're a guest there. But if you want to make sure you can get into the park you just have to show up when the park opens (or a little before), which is the best time to go on any day since the crowds are low for the first few hours.

Hotel lots are for hotel guests only, they won't let you stay if you don't have a parking pass, you will be towed.

Hello,

We have spoken to a few people who went to Disneyland on Christmas day and could not get in.... They all suggested being at the gates 2 hrs early.

That is what I was referring to as we want to make sure we get in the park on Christmas day.

Maybe others who have gone more recently has another opinion?? I do understand you would have to pay to park at the hotels but I was wondering if that was a better option or maybe I need not to worry and just Park at Disney?

Thanks so much!!

Where are you planning to stay? There are a lot of nice hotels across the street you can stay at and just walk to the gate in the morning This is the best option because you would not have to worry about parking at all.

We have rented a house 5 blks away... We have rented a house the last time and then this time!!! It is much more relaxing.... We parked (rental car) at the park last time but we are just worried about christmas morning....

If you get to the parks when they open, or shortly afterwards, you won't have an issue with parking. You will either get the Mickey & Friends Parking lot, or you will be directed to the newly opened parking lot. If you get to the parks later in the day then there is a good chance that parking won't be the issue. If Disneyland reaches capacity you won't get in the park due to the park being crowded.

Your best bet is to plan on getting to Disneyland early, and you will be fine.

So we should not have a problem getting in on Christmas morning if we are there when the parking lot opens?? Thanks!!
