We'll be there! I know it is crazy busy, but that's life for a few years while the kids are in high school and college - can't just go whenever we want anymore!

Where is everyone staying and what are your best survival tips? What do you really love about WDW over Christmas week? Where will you spend Christmas Eve and Day? What about New Year's Eve and Day? What will you do to make this trip special?

And did you know you can make this board's visual effects, the coloring, be a holiday theme?? Kind of fun setting the tone of our research to our vacation time!

I know it's a long way off, but we are really looking forward to it! :woohoo:

We are going on December first week and planning to stay at POFQ. We are all excited to go. :cool1:

Have a nice day everyone. :)

Count us in. We will be at the CBR the 19th- 25th. We also have a high school student who can no longer miss school for a trip in Oct. I am worried about the crowds, but at least I will still be at Disney!

Yeah - just booked yesterday for the 9- the 19th at ASMuFamily Suites! with the dining plan (crossing our fingers for a repeat of the free dining in December again!) and paid in full so we are on our way!!!!! :santa:

We will be at POP from 12/26 thru 1/2. Never been Christmas week so not sure what to expect other than large crowds! We are preparing ourselves for that!

We plan to spend NYE at the MK. I know it will be crazy crowded but we spent two July 4th there and had such an awesome time.

It seems soooooooo far away right now! :upsidedow

We were there for the weeks of Christmas and New Years in 2005. We had Christmas dinner at the Liberty Tree Tavern. Seemed like a normal family holiday dinner...turkey, ham, stuffing, all the fixings. Dinner was late and when we came out, it was just perfect timing for the start of Wishes. We just stood there in Liberty Square enjoying the festive cap to our day. Then it took us an hour to inch our way to the gate...but we're not focusing on that part!

Any ideas for what you'll do for Christmas Day? What will you not do? We're still looking for ideas and would like something different.

Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately since we are going to Disney World) we will be spending Christmas Day on a train. We were able to buy tickets for the 3 of us for just over $500 round trip! We had planned to drive but heck, it would cost us more than that to rent a car. We all agreed that we'll have a special breakfast & then board the train knowing we'll be in our favorite place the next day! Although I do kinda wish that I could be in the World on Christmas, this is the next best thing!

But what about dinner at a signature? Jiko or Artist Point are my first thoughts. Don't some of the restaurants have special menus?

Still in the planning stage. Hope to be there mid dec if all works out.:banana:

We are planning to be there Dec. 17 - 24 this year. Dec. 16 is our 15 year anniversary and we honeymooned at Port Orleans. This would be the first Christmas trip we take since then and will be bringing our 8 and 4 year old with us. :goodvibes

We are planning to be there Dec 16-23(CBR). Would love to be there Christmas but we need to be home with the rest of our family. We were there(off property) in 2005 between christmas and new years. We had an AMAZING time. The crowds were large but who cares...you are at Disney!!!!!:cheer2:

We are going for our second time Dec 8 - 17 and staying at the All Star Sports Resort...We went in Dec of 07 and absolutely loved it...The decorations and weather was great! We decided then that we would make the trip an every other year thing...

We are, We are......................

Leaving Christmas day and staying until Jan. 2nd. So we will be there on Christmas and New Years. Staying at the CR. We are in the same boat. Have a daughter in High School so we can no longer go during off season (were spoiled for many years). I'm thinking the crowds will be INSANE!! Only other busy time we went was during Easter week and it was crowded but we managed just fine. Looking for any suggestions for Christmas night and New years eve. Traveling with hubby, and 2 daughters, ages 9 and 15.(by then)

We're going Dec 20-29. This was always our dream to go at Christmas time at least once. It just so happen kids vacation was at the right time. :woohoo: :dance3: :woohoo:
