Christmas 2008 - We're in!

After 5 months of trying to get reservations for December 2008 with no luck, I thought I'd try today just on a whim...and was able to make ressies for 2 sites for 7 nights.

It's a Happy New Year indeed.

WOW! I am new to "Camping at Disney". I didn't realize it was so hard to get a ressie for December. I heard that people actually tour through FW to look at the campsite Christmas decorations. Must be really special. Just another reason to go in December.

It took me 2 months and dozens and dozens of phone calls to piece together my 12 night stay !! I started right in at the 500 day mark. FW has a very frustrating reservations process that I don't understand. Why can't they just book it like they do all of the other resorts ?? It is worth all of the work though.

Here's to December '08 !!

I started calling daily in early August and would be told they aren't available yet. The one week I couldn't call every day, they booked solid.

We're trying to stay through the 1st so having to try and add on but at least we're in. The reservation game continues. It's almost as bad as trying to get Cinderella breakfast reservations 5 years ago and having to get them in an unusual way from another site. That was a weird experience.

I'm all for a dis party.

Congrats! Your post is inspiring, guess I'll keep trying now too for Valentine's Weekend and Thanksgiving weekend. If not I'll be calling this summer for those dates for 2009! Hey what can I say I just got a 5th wheel for christmas, so I couldn't start booking till now. So far all I have is my anniversary last weekend of May.
