Just got a quote from them it came out as Heathrow to Orlando with AA £938 in total, £100 deposit. So slightly less than VA, and i've flown AA before and thought they were good, plus Heathrow is closer to us, although not sure if the bus would run on Christmas Day.
But AA would be indirect wouldn't they?
If you are willing to go indirect Continental are only £726.20 total returning on 16th
Or £672.20 KLM returning on 15th.
Both from Heathrow Xmas day
Yes we didI think we posted at the same time.
not sure what days theya re but with most scheduled flights if you dont stay a saturday night you have to pay the full adult flexible fare, hence why its so much
Hi Claire
Your problem is you have to stay a Saturday night. If you don't it more or less doubles the cost.
Maybe someone can give the reasoning but thats how flight costs work.
To go dates you want indirect cheapest is about £795 Direct £1,254
Go day before (incl sat night) and cost will come down to indirect from £480 Direct £712 still expensive dates but don't include the premium for not staying a Saturday night.
can he not go 26th to 31st maybe then you arrive on a sat?
I could never get my head round the sat night stay when I worked for VA
Also have a mess with VH flydrives(just ignore car). No time to mess (hometime) but 28th Dec for 5 days is £617, if he is in FVC with extra disc about £590, buy thru Quidco for 3% cashback down to about £575.
Some dates are sold out though so showing P/E return and more expensive(still less than £1254)
Well he has booked, he is coming on the 26th now to include a Saturday, the best price in the end was a package through eBookers.
