Sorry it has taken me a bit, but I had to unpack and finish somethings for work
Ok Here we go, so sit back and relax

Back to Day one 5/8/08
I got to Geancarlo's house by 5:30pm... Its a long drive to his house from work... So once I get there I run upstairs to shower and get ready for the event... We were running around like crazy people getting the car ready for the trip b/c once the we leave the event we were on our way to DISNEY

First let me show you how my family packs...
This is a day before we leave and I am getting all the bags ready and of course my bichon frise jumps in to join the fun...

Now my sister is known to pack her entire closet into 3 bags.. If she is going away for just 1 day... she will manage to have 2 bags of clothes, a shoe bag, and a hair and makeup bag... Yes she is that crazy... so right now it looks as if her closet just threw up everywhere

I now am putting ALL my planning sheets and pics to show Michelle in my binder

BTW this is my something NEW, its a handkerchief from Mindy Weiss Collection

Now here are my voucher AP tickets from DFTW, I had to bring them so we can get our AP's, and of course Dixie Mae had to get in the pic

Ok now back to leaving to Disney
So now its 6:30pm and we are ready to leave to Miami
Here we are packing my car

Geancarlo says its like playing Tetris with my luggage...lol

I am so excited we are ready to leave

So now we are on the road and we had to stop for gas... Geez can we just get on the road, get to the event, show our faces and leave...LOL

These gas prices are absolutely RIDICULOUS

So here is Geancarlo pumping gas... Can he take any longer, I am just itching to get going ...Can you tell that I am getting anxious to LEAVE...

So now we made it to Miami...Its 7:30pm now Here we are at my bosses place
Here is my bosses mom and my co worker

And me and co-worker she is so great and greatto work with

If you are wondering about our jewelry, my bosses father is a jewelry designer so we all modeled his jewelry for the night... I DID NOT want to take it off... I was so in love with it

So we are having a good time chatting, eating, and drinking..... By the time I knew it, it was 9pm... Holy CRAP we have to get going...
So I said my good byes and made our way out and into the car..

I brought a change of clothes with me and I changed in the car, Geancarlo changed downstairs in the lobby, there was no way we were going to drive up to Orlando and me wearing a dress and heels and Geancarlo in dress pants and a collared shirt....

So after we changed and got comfortable in the car and all situated
it was 9:39pm when we left Miami...from Miami its a good 3.5 hours

The drive was DREADFUL, my eyelids were SO DARN HEAVY that I was trying to stay awake... So we blasted Red Hot Chili Peppers, Coldplay, and ANYTHING that was loud for me to stay awake... I felt bad leaving Geancarlo alone to drive at night...

I made it all the way to Orlando AWAKE...WOO HOO
I thought I was going to pass out, but I stayed up and kept Geancarlo company....

and we MADE IT

I just caught up with your PJ, and I'm excited to hear about your PS! I love the nighttime picture of the Disney archway... I'm not sure I've ever seen it lit up at night.

Now we are on DISNEY PROPERTY, I get so excited.. NOW I am AWAKE...of course when I am ready to get to my room
So we pull up to Pop Century and all I want to do now is take pics of everything

Once we pass the gate we call my mom and she tells me that we are in the 1950's bowling building... We found the building and its so cute well everything Disney is cute... The only thing I hate about the Value's is the building can be hidden in the back and you have to trek your luggage all the way through to your room... UGHHHH

We are dying by the time we get to the hotel, and now I am tired..lol
Here we are trekking the darn luggage

Of course I give Geancarlo the heavy bags...lol.. we were just ready to get the hotel.. and I feel so bad he looks beat in this picture

He was telling me now " Christina, enough of the pictures lets get going to the room, I am tired and I want to get to bed"

I have to say driving at night is no fun so I at your feet because last time DH and I drove at night for a distance we both almost fell asleep while driving. Can't wait to read more about your plans!

So now after Geancarlo said NO PICS..lol.. I decided well let me stop b/c this weekend I will go HOG HEAVEN with taking pics...lol.. I will give him a little break... so now its 1:30am and we get to the room.. The only thing I do is take the chairs and put them against the window and they push the draperies to the wall b/c if not the sun comes through strong on the sides and I hate sun in the mornings.... My sister Alexis has the room all set for us to get to bed.... How nice is my MOH... so I shower and get into bed...AGHHHHH I am in cloud 9... Its not my bed at home but it felt so good to be refreshed and in a bed.... Well as I was falling asleep, Geancarlo and Alexis decide that its time to chat... Oh yeah they CHATTED until 2:15am.... WHAT GET TO BED.. I have too much going on tomorrow morning.... I kept saying "Please I have to much going on tomorrow just SHUT UP"... well they took that and decided YEP lets chat more... GEEZ...cant anyone listen to the bride to be....lol... I thought I was going to be too excited to sleep but I passed out right away....

So now day one is over

Coming up next DAY 2 Planning session.
Will we make it on time? Will we ever get there????

Oh, FUN!! I love the way you write, Christina! Poor Geancarlo! He looks so tired. That was so sweet of you to stay awake to keep him company. POP Century is one of the hotels in our room block,so it is fun to see pix and I am glad you liked it!

Yeah!! Oh poor Geancarlo, he looks so tired in that pic! So why the heck was he up talking?!?!?! Dh is reading with me, and he's like " why are we taking pics of gas stations? Is that a car clock? " I love it! It's a great TR so far!

Thanks Girls, I am glad you all like it... I just had to post my BM dresses they came in WOOOOO HOOOO.. they are gorgeous.. Alexis loves to wear her dress...lol... Oh and I also got my BEO I am still waiting for my Floral BEO and I thought that my BEO would have been worse, I was very surprised how well priced it was...lol.. so now we wait for the Floral (HURRY ROSE HURRY)


When the dress is on, the sweep train in the back is so romantic looking

Thank you. I have read TR's that were so detailed that I felt I was on the trip with them, so I wanted to have that same feeling....
