Hi Sis! Did you have a good walk? I am going for a walk after I eat my lunch, since it is so nice outside.

It was alright, about 45 minutes into it the batteries in my cd player died so I had to go the last 15 singing whatever songs I could think of. Hence the one above. I was walking on the road, the sun was shining warm on my face and the wind was at my back, all I was missing was the rain but it will come later in the day! LOL I would have liked the rain, it was soooo hot! I like the air conditioning so much better.

Thats a bummer about the batteries going dead. I like to take my CD player or my small radio with me on walks too, it really helps me get moving! LOL

Hey all! I know I have been a stranger lately... I think I'll be a bit more sporatic as we enjoy some much needed vacation time over the next couple of weeks. I'll try to pop on if I can and say "Hi!" though. Most of you know I'll be floating on the ocean as soon as possible!!!!

My niece Erin has been having tests done and all sorts of things. She is having a surgery (could be the first of several) this Monday, August 2nd, so I would appreciate prayers for her. Thanks

I'll miss you guys when I can't be here reading. I ususally try to read everyday even when I can't post. Keep on singing the great songs and sharing the terrific scriptures!

I have a praise too...my classroom is really coming together nicely in the new school. I had a lot to set up coming back into teaching after being out for so long and it feels likemI still have so much to do!!! But I am excited (a little nervous too) to get started and to learn as I teach and be used of the Lord with the kids He beings me! I'm starting to pray for my kids already. I'm also trying to listen to the Voice of my Father (The voice of TRUTH) and trust in Him to help me to reach the kids and help them to build a strong foundation in reading and math with nurturing and patience...

I have a prayer request for you guys. My Aunt Mary Ella is in intensive care right now. We aren't sure what is wrong with her at the moment. I was taking a nap when another Aunt called and told my dad and then he went to the hospital. My mom didn't really know any details either. The biggest thing to pray about is that she is not a Christian and I don't know how severe her condition is at the moment. If she is in ICU I imagine it's pretty bad. So please join me in prayer, first for her salvation and then for her healing. My dad's family has already lost 2 members this year, it would be absolutely devestating for them to lose another.

Praying for your Aunt, Michelle, and for your dad's whole family. Mostly, I pray that whatever happens, that she can come to a saving knowledge of Jesus in this circumstance and turn from darknesss to light and see her great need for Him. I'll pray for your dad's family to be strengthened and to be able to minister to Mary Ella and to be the hads and feet of Jesus, so that she can finally come to faith in Him. I'll pray for wisdom for the doctors and hospital staff to be able to bring her through this.
