Good Evening Everyone!
I just wanted to let everyone know that I'm back from San Antonio. Boy was it HOT, HOT, HOT down there.
God has truley blessed our house hold over the past two weeks.I came home and James and the kids were so happy to see me. Fankly I cannot stop smiling. I'm so glad God has afforded me the opprotunity to come back home to my family. My children are just growing like weeds. Amani (6) another one of her teeth is loose. As Amani's loosing her teeth. Jordan (6months) has sprouted another chicklet in his mouth for a total of two. He only had one when I left on the 6th. Man where did the time go.
Once again the Air Force has crammed 6 months worth of knowlege into my head in a two week span. But God saw me throuht it. My first test last Friday I scored a 90% and my second test this past Friday I scored 95%. I was aiming for 100% but as usual they threw in a trick question and it got me

But the good thing is that I passed. I can now get my promotion. Test, Test and more test. Air Force Enlisted members have to test and be sent to school on their job knowledge before we can get promoted. I can now pin on E-6. I'm so happy and so is DH
Secondly while I was gone another manager slot became open at DH's job and at first DH was looked over for it. He's a second level mangager not at a top level manager. Well when the position opened, his, bosses, boss did not open the job to anyone within the company. So DH was a little offended because he's had experience the this particular job. With the encouragement from others at his job he applied for the position just to see what the outcome would be. Well not expecting anything he went up for the postion and scored an interview with the GM. During the interview, he felt as if the GM was trying to discourage him from wanting the position. She told him that they had someone else with more experience in mind. DH just put his game face on and let the GM know that, he's trying to grow as a person, within the company and has a lot to offer for the company, the position, the costumers and himself. Two days later the GM called and offered him the postion. She felt as if James would be the best person for the job. With a little training he would do excellent and excel. James knows the company inside and out and knows that he would get the job done. The $4000-$5000 dollar increase will not hurt either.
God has truley shined his light on James, Amani Jordan and I. Some times I just have to sit back and say thank you because he's so good to us. !!!
I just had to share the good news with you guys. Okay enough about me, how is everyone else doing?
