Praying for you and your Grandpa, princess: .

Weak and wounded sinner
Lost and left to die
O, raise your head, for love is passing by
Come to Jesus
Come to Jesus
Come to Jesus and live!

Now your burden's lifted
And carried far away
And precious blood has washed away the stain, so
Sing to Jesus
Sing to Jesus
Sing to Jesus and live!

And like a newborn baby
Don't be afraid to crawl
And remember when you walk
Sometimes we fall...so
Fall on Jesus
Fall on Jesus
Fall on Jesus and live!

Sometimes the way is lonely
And steep and filled with pain
So if your sky is dark and pours the rain, then
Cry to Jesus
Cry to Jesus
Cry to Jesus and live!

O, and when the love spills over
And music fills the night
And when you can't contain your joy inside, then
Dance for Jesus
Dance for Jesus
Dance for Jesus and live!

And with your final heartbeat
Kiss the world goodbye
Then go in peace, and laugh on Glory's side, and
Fly to Jesus
Fly to Jesus
Fly to Jesus and live!

I don't know how to say exactly how I feel
And I can't begin to tell you what your love has meant
I'm lost for words
Is there a way to show the passion in my heart
Can I express how truly great I think you are
My dearest friend
Lord, this is my desire
To pour my love on You

Chorus:
Like oil upon your feet
Like wine for you to drink
Like water from my heart
I pour my love on you
If praise is like perfume
I'll lavish mine on you
Till every drop is gone
I'll pour my love on you

Verse 2:
Is there a way to show the passion in my heart
Can I express how truly great I think you are
My dearest friend
Lord, this is my desire
To pour my love on you

Chorus:
Like oil upon your feet
Like wine for you to drink
Like water from my heart
I pour my love on you
If praise is like perfume
I'll lavish mine on you
Till every drop is gone
I'll pour my love on you

Chorus:
Like oil upon your feet
Like wine for you to drink
Like water from my heart
I pour my love on you
If praise is like perfume
I'll lavish mine on you
Till every drop is gone

Pour my love on you
Yeah

Chorus:
Like oil upon your feet
Like wine for you to drink
Like water from my heart
I pour my love on you
If praise is like perfume
I'll lavish mine on you
Till every drop is gone

Chorus:
Like oil upon your feet
Like wine for you to drink
Like water from my heart
I pour my love on you
If praise is like perfume
I'll lavish mine on you
Till every drop is gone
I'll pour my love on you

Pour my love on you
Yeah, yeah

princess: Sis, I will keep your Grandfather in my prayers.

Hey Jen, Barb and Jeanne!

Jeanne, I love the song's you sang!

Just to let you guy's know I won't be around tomorrow or sat., I have one of my Church weekend sleepovers( this weekend). I will see all of you on sunday though. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

hi michelle, i am praying for your family, and i haven't heard about the superbowl, yet, so we're still praying about it.

also, dw is enloying the conference and said that she is getting many great ideas and buying cd's for worship music. she thought that she might get to go to saddleback church yesterday afternoon, don't know if she would get to meet rick warren or not. she told me to guess where next year's conference will be, and i nailed it and told her florida, of course. we may get to go with her, although i would rather go to anaheim, haven't been to DL since '85, and would really like to return during the happiest celebration on earth.

please pray for her flight safety home tonight, as well as no weather delays, don't know if our kids could handle another night without mommy, although they have done very well, after the first night.

thanks to you all.

Praying for a safe trip for your wife, Phil :)

Because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness. I say to myself, "The Lord is my portion; therefore I will wait for Him."

Lamentations 3:22-24

Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom
Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom
Lift your eyes to Heaven, there is freedom
Lift your eyes to Heaven, there is freedom

Freedom reigns in this place
Showers of mercy and grace
Falling on every face
There is freedom

If you’re tired and thirsty, there is freedom
If you’re tired and thirsty, there is freedom
Give your all to Jesus, there is freedom
Give your all to Jesus, there is freedom

Freedom reigns in this place
Showers of mercy and grace
Falling on every face
There is freedom

Jesus reigns in this place
Showers of mercy and grace
Falling on every face
There is freedom

I have to believe that He sees my sorrows
I have to believe that He knows my pain
I have to lift up my hands to worship
Worship His name

I have to declare that He is my refuge
I have to deny that I am alone
I have to lift up my eyes to the mountain
Where my help comes from

I have to stand tall when the wind blows me over
I have to stand strong when I'm weak and afraid
I have to grab hold, hold of the garments
The garments of praise

He said that He's forever faithful
He said that He's forever true
He said that He can move mountains
If He can move mountains, He can move my mountain
And He can move your mountain too

I have to sing praise, the hour is midnight
He unlocks the chains that bind up my soul
My sin and my shame He has forgiven
And made me whole

I have to believe
I have to believe

There is a river whose streams make glad the city of our God
There is a river whose streams make glad the city of our God
So I will rejoice
I will rejoice
And be glad
Oh I will rejoice
I will rejoice
And be glad

There is a fountain full of grace and it flows from Emanual's veins
It came and it healed me
It came and refreshed me
It came and washed my sins away!
I will rejoice
I will rejoice
And be glad
Oh I will rejoice
I will rejoice
And be glad

Blessed be Your name
in the land that is plentiful
Where Your streams of abundance flow
Blessed be Your name

Blessed be Your name
when I'm found in the desert place
Though I walk through the wilderness
Blessed be Your name

Every blessing You pour out I'll
turn back to praise
When the darkness closes in Lord
Still I will say

Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your name
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your glorious name

Blessed be Your name
when the sun's shining down on me
When the world's all as it should be
Blessed be Your name

Blessed be Your name
on the road marked with suffering
Though there's pain in the offering
Blessed be Your name

Every blessing You pour out I'll
turn back to praise
When the darkness closes in Lord
Still I will say

Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your name
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your glorious name

You give and take away
You give and take away
My heart will choose to say
Lord blessed be Your name

Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your name
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your glorious name

Hi guys, I just wanted to let you all know that my Grandpa came through his surgery alright. Thank you for your prayers.

Phil, I've been praying for your wife today. I hope she has a safe flight and is able to get home to you and your children tonight. :)

Great songs and scripture, Jeanne and Fur! :)

well thanks for the prayers, dw called a few mins ago from the airport, they were waiting for their luggage, then headed back to the church, so she should be home in about 45 mins. i hope that the kids can hang in there til she gets here. we are all going to be so glad to see her.

Did anyone else happen to catch Kristy Yamaguchi's Salute to All American Music tonight on ESPN2? I came across the last half of it when I was looking for something to watch. I tuned in at just the right time. Paul Wylie skated to Michael W. Smith's song Healing Rain. Better than that was the fact that MWS was there to perform the song for him live. I love the song but I have to say that Paul Wylie's performance was absolutely breathtaking, very moving and perfect with the song. Kristy Yamaguchi and two other female skaters who's names I can't remember then skated to Friends, which he also performed live. It was very cool. I'm glad I came across it!

Hi Everyone! :D

princess: Sis, I am glad to hear your Grandpa came through his surgery alright. ((hug)) And no, I did not see Kristy Yamaguchi's Salute to All American Music, I wish I knew it was on, becasue I would have loved to have seen it!

It's so quiet around here, I hope everyone is doing alright. :grouphug: I miss everyone!

Hey everybody! :)

Michelle, I'm so glad that your grandpa came through the surgery well. It's a tough one. I work with many patients who have vascular problems and end up having amputations. Many of them do well post surgery and learn to get around really well. I am hoping that for your grandpa

I really like to watch Kristy skate and I know I so would have enjoyed that show!

Hey there Sarah! :)

It just really sang to my heart.

WIDE OPEN

Newsong – WIDE OPEN
From the album – WIDE OPEN

Heaven’s gates were closed
And there seemed to be no hope for fallen man
We were prisoners of our sin
With no way to enter in
But God had a plan
The Father knew there had to be a perfect sacrifice
So Jesus came
A cross was raised and when he laid down his life

chorus:
Wide open, wide open
They nailed His arms wide open
After three days in a cold grave
The power of sin was broken
Now with outstretched arms he welcomes in
Everyone who trusts in Him
His nail-scarred hands hold heaven’s gates wide open

For so long my eyes were closed
I couldn’t see a way of hope for someone like me
And in my despair I cried
There’s got to be more to this life,
Lord help me please
And the Father said,
There had to be perfect sacrifice
That’s why Jesus came
A cross was raised and He laid down His life

(chorus)

For every weary heart that aches
For every dream this world will break
There’s a promise in its place
God has made a way

(chorus)

Hope everyone had a wonder-filled day!
In Him,

Edie

That is awesome! I didn't see it, but I always loved Paul Wylie. I saw someone skate to "Amazing Grace" a few weeks ago. DH didn't like the idea that a hymn was used for this, but I think it's a terrific way to bless God.

I'm glad your grandfather's surgery is over and he's doing well Michelle. How are you?

I want to set
The story straight
It's time to tell
The truth

I never could
Have come so far
If it were not
For You

You covered up my sin
You covered up my silence
You covered up my shame
You made me new again

Chorus:
It's all because of You...

They tell me to
Abandon You
To make my dreams
Come true

So what am I
Supposed to do?
I only dream
Of You

You covered up my sin
You covered up my silence
You covered up my shame
I am new again

(Chorus)

Well there was my 1st Post on this thread.... The harmony to this song draws me in as much as the words do...

Later,
Paul
