Amazing Grace, welcome to the DIS and to this thread! It's great to have you here. The song you posted is one of the few that has the power to disolve me to tears when I hear it. My brother struggled for 14 years in a battle with leukemia and I think my mom must have prayed the same words as in the song more times than I can imagine.

Jill, I'm so sorry to hear that Jess isn't doing well. I will keep praying.

Hey guys I have a prayer request for you. My mom just found out she has skin cancer. She had an unusual mole by her nose and the Doctor monitored it for awhile and it never went away so they froze it, still didn't get any better so they burned it, still no luck so the Doctor finally took a biopsy of it and called today with the results that it was indeed skin cancer. She has to go in Monday to discuss what kind of treatment she'll need to have for it. I would appreciate it if you would keep her in your prayers. Thanks.

Thank you all again for your prayers. I have more to ask.

My dad came home from work this afternoon having some problems that were major enough that he went to the doctor (which he NEVER does) and found out he has a hernia and will have to have surgery for it. We aren't sure when that will be just yet because there were some other things wrong that the doctor wants to clear up before they do the surgery.

We also still need plenty of prayers regarding my Grandfather.

I'm so glad I have you guys, love you all so much!
