Thanx for the warm welcome everybody. I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised to see a forum such as this on a Disney site. Most of my friends would tell you that I'm a church music fanatic, so I'm always interested to see songs that others have found inspiring.

Like I said, glad you're here Chris! Come and visit as often as you can!

Jeanne, I had to laugh when you mentioned being called Jeannie as a child! Most people call me just Jill. I used to hate being called Jilly! I was hardly ever called that except for by a few people who I coudn't believe thought they could call me a "nickname" I hated when they hardly knew me. SO anyway..I adopted it on the DIS from a certain member, (who shall remain nameless but who has "royalty" in her blood), and she knew me pretty long at the time and I really don't mind it! I actually came up with the extended version "Jillyfish", because of my LOVE for swimming and my lack of fear to swim with jellies! They don't scare me one bit! Of course I have never had to swim with those Austrailian deadly ones... LOL Anyway, at my age I figure, "You can call me anything, just don't call me before 5:00 am!" I am actually glad it's just "Jeanne", because I have been thinking that in my mind all this time and I woudn't want to have to retrain myself!

Lisa! How wonderful! There is nothing that we could celebrate over more! I hope she knows that all of heaven was worshipping over her decision! Praise God!

I am reading a book by Francine Rivers about Mary....great book. I know Jill loves her books and now I know why!!

As posted earlier, I didn't get any new CD's but...my DD did! She got Newsboys, Big Daddy Weave and Relient K(they aren't my "style" ). So, when I have a chance to nab them from her room, I'll share a song.

Praise God for His goodness! I just spoke to my brother and baby Levi is out of the incubator into a regular bassinet and is off all the IV's and feeding tubes. He is doing very well and will most likely be coming home on Wednesday. My brother and SIL are so happy, and we are grateful for all of your prayers!

Michelle, thanks for the Scriptures! I have a question for you...or for anyone else who might have "old time" CCM knowledge...Do you remember a song called Everlasting Tapestry? I can't remember who did it and I know the melody and can recall some of the words...but it is just stumping me! I'm still trying to search it out. Just thought I would see if you remembered it...mid-late 80's it was popular on the radio but I don't think I ever had a tape with it on.

I tried to do a google search for the song you mentioned, but didn't get any hits I thought were what you wanted. Try putting in some of the phrases from the song and see if you get anything.
