A week ago, I said that I'd explain what was going on in my life -- and I will as soon as I find some extra time. Let's just say for now that God is answering prayers and starting to fill the gaping wound in my heart from my separation. Plus, DS#1 has decided that he isn't ready to be married next summer at age 21. I really wanted him to wait until he had graduated from college and God has been truly working in his life.

I just spoke with Michelle, and she asks that we pray. She arrived home a little while ago to find the fire department and ambulance at her home. It seems that her grandfather was having a normal conversation with the family when all of a sudden he couldn't move his right arm and got a really scared look on his face. His speach was affected, too. He is now at the hospital. Please pray for him and pray for Michelle and her family. Please also pray for wisdom for the doctors and nurses.

Father, we come to You now lifting up Michelle's grandpa. Thank You, Lord, that he was with people who love him, who could be there with him in this scarry time and get him help right way. Please be with him in the coming critical hours and give the doctors and his family wisdom as they make decisions. Grant him peace and place Your hand of mercy, grace and healing on him even now. We pray these things in Jesus' name. AMEN.

Thank you everyone for your prayers, they have determined that my Grandfather had a stroke. It was not a major one thank God and he was doing alright when my parents left the hospital. When my mom called this morning he was still in the emergency room and had not been put in a regular room yet. I guess I should just be thankful that they actually were able to see him, the first hospital they took him to had to send him to this one because they didn't have the right equipment to care for him. I'll be sure to keep you guys updated as soon as I hear anything else. Love you guys! {{{hugs}}}

Hey guys, thank you for your continued prayers, it means so much.

I just wanted to stop in real quick and give you a little update. They finally moved my Grandpa to his own room and he is stable for the time being. They are monitoring him closely still. The Doctor said the right side of his brain had shut down twice. I guess we will just have to wait and see. I'll be going to visit tomorrow after church so I will give you another update when I get home.

Michelle, I am glad that your grandpa seems to be doing some better. How is he today?

Hey Fur,

When we went to see him today he seemed to be doing great. His Doctor said he is recovering really well from the stroke but there are some other things they are concerned about so they have run some test and are awaiting the results. Apparently he has some blocked arteries in his neck and also some problems with his heart. He may need to have surgery to correct the problems with the arteries.

I'll let you guys know what's going on as I get more info.

Hello, Michell, Stamper, Hemi Mom JC2, Dan everyone else. I just popped in to see how everything is going. Sorry to hear about your grandpa Michelle. I am praying he has perfect peace and wise doctors and that his recovery will be quick and complete.

I have missed you all as I don't get by here very often.
I am moving to Virginia ( Fredericksburg) in July so if i don't get back before then I will check in when I am settled.
