We went to the funeral today.. it was good.
Thanks for all the prayers. Our family friend's family will need lots of prayers to come. The older sons are taking this really hard, and it is. Also, the daughter is taking this kinda hard too. So please keep our families friend in your prayers, Thank you.

Here is a song that was performed by my 3 neices and their aunt, at my daughters baptism. What a glorious gift that was. Their voices are the best musical sounds I have ever heard. Someone once said a singer alway has their instrument with them. I wish I could carry the 4 of them in my pocket because they sound so awesome together.

thanks for your concern. It seems sometimes that it is so hard sometimes to be the person God wants me to be. Life isnt' always easy. But we do the best that we can and pray that God will do the rest. Sometimes you feel like you have to put on a different face for different people.

I feel the same way sometimes. Like church should be a place where we can be the real us and share our hurts, struggles, etc. but often times I find it's hard to be open with people there for fear of being judged, etc. So yes, I'm guilty of wearing the mask as well. DH and I can joke about it now but there have been times were we have argued and yelled at each other all the way to church, get there, get out of the car and paste on a smile and your answer to everyone when they ask how you are doing is "just fine".

I love my church and going. It is the place I am comfortable, being with others outside of church .... well that is where I am judged as to who I should be. But back to the OP. I love my Christian songs.
