I just don't get this guy. I think he is funny in a "hit and miss" kind of way. Most of the time, I can't stand to listen to him because his screechy voice just grates on my nerves:rotfl: Kind of sounds like he hasn't hit puberty yet:rotfl:

He does some really funny stand up comedy (IMO), I don't mind his voice, but his swearing every 15 seconds, I just don't get it :confused3

I prefer Tracy Morgan and Russell Brand (not at the same time).

Comedy, music and movies are all like ice cream, everybody has their favorite flavors.

I actually like his movies better than his standup.

I've seen him in standup, and I just don't think he is funny.

I think he's very uncomfortable in interviews because he's VERY shy and social inept. I've seen him very funny and at times not so much.

I would lump him in with Jim Carrey and Chris Farley. A few things may be funny, but for the most part, it's a bit much and not funny. Somebody pointed out the excessive swearing which I agree with 100%. The F-bomb does not enhance anything nor does it help to make the joke funnier.

My sister is a budding stand up comedian and she's opened for some of the comedy centra people. I went to a show with my parents on one of her showcases and I had to leave the room because of the content of the jokes from the main act. ::: steps down off soapbox :::

I don't mind a bit of swearing, but when every other word is a swear word, it becomes a distraction from what they are saying.

If a comedian has to use lots of swear words in their act, then they're really not that funny. And this would apply to any comedian, imo.

In all honestly there are not many comedians or comedy for that matter that I do NOT like.

So I guess I should have said that up front.;)

The thing I do not like is "Puppet Comedians", ventriloquists, like Jeff Dunham.

I completely disagree. I think he is HI-larious.

So funny you mention these two because these are two guys I absolutely don't get.

Ditto!

Chris Rock had an HBO special (maybe his first one for them) about 10 years ago that was one of the funniest things I have ever seen. I watched it over and over again and it seemed funnier to me everytime I saw it. Mr. Rock's subsequent efforts have affected me less so.

Robin Williams, in my opinion, is the funniest man I have ever seen.
