He was the guy who Kevin Bacon taught to dance (one of my favorite scenes ). His character dated Sarah Jessica Parker's character and SJP was always trying to keep him from getting into fights.

Saw that this morning, very sad. He was a good actor.

I didn't realize until reading his biography on imdb.com that his brother Michael is married to Aimee Mann (lead singer of 'Til Tuesday from the 80's and now a solo artist). DW MeanLaureen's brother used to date Aimee Mann in high school. They lived a few houses down from Lauri and her brother was best friends with her brother.
