Sorry I didnt get back sooner, I didnt get in till after 1am,

Chris is ok, but had to go to hospital as his neck started to hurt, turns out its whiplash, but he will be ok, he was shuck up, he says he didnt see it happen just heard the bang.

as far as I can tell he was at a junction on the A61, which is a one lane each side road, a lorry wated to turn into the junction and couldnt because Chris was waiting there to turn, so the lorry flashed Chris out, to say it was clear for Chris to pull out (as Chris couldnt see round the lorry)

Well it turns out the lorry wasnt blocking the whole road, Chris pulled out onto that side, and a flat bed van hit him at about 60 and took him fifty yards down the road, as Chris says he just remembers the bang no other noise.

The cars a new vauxhall estate, all the left side from half way down the passenger door is a right mess, it peeled the panels off the doors, split the wheel in two, took the car in six inches, and may be a right off due to the collum at the front (the one that goes from the roof down past the front windows) is badly damaged.

Its a works car, so he has a new one coming this morning, so glad it wasnt our car as I dont think our 207 would have faired that well against a flat bed.

I am just so glad he is ok, its always been my worst nightmare to gt a call like that, but Chris says ith the miles he does a year, its going to be likely he has a bump every so often.

And my DH always say's that at the end of the day a car is only a piece of metal that can be replaced no matter what happens to it but we can
