At Lilo & Stitch, we saw Lily, Stitch, Goofy, Daisy & Minnie - all in resort wear.

At Ariel's we saw Ariel, Aurora, Cinderella, Belle & Snow White.

At Ariel's Grotto, is there always Ariel, Snow White, Cinderella, Belle, Aurora, and Jasmine? I know that Mulan and Poco are rare....you think Tiana is a possibility by summer of 2010?

What about Piglet? Is he ever there in Critter Country or is it just Tigger, Pooh, and sometimes Eeyore?

Does Pluto ever come out or just Goofy?

Buzz or Jessie along with the rare Woody?

I've seen someone recently with a Dopey pic. Anyone else seen him about was this a lucky person?

Finally, if not at a character meal are Chip, Dale, Rafiki, Lilo, Stitch, or Baloo ever wander the parks?

We've seen Mulan at Goofy's. Princess Minnie apparently sometimes makes appearances at Ariel's, we saw her in 2007. At Ariel's we've twice seen Ariel with four other princesses, and once with five (that was when Minnie appeared). At our latest visit we saw Ariel, Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora and Jasmine.

What about Piglet? Is he ever there in Critter Country or is it just Tigger, Pooh, and sometimes Eeyore?

Piglet does count as rare, but he's been seen in Critter Country. During the summer someone reported seeing him at Minnie's too.

Does Pluto ever come out or just Goofy?

Pluto comes out very much, he was the character we met most often last year.

Buzz or Jessie along with the rare Woody?

Buzz makes separate appearances in Tomorrowland. We've met Jessie along with Woody at the Big Thunder Ranch. Lately they seem to hang around near TSMM.

That was a pic from Mickey's TOT party. Looks like Dopey is along with Snow White at her picture spot there.

Chip & Dale are out pretty regularly. Friends of mine met Stitch at Sunshine Plaza last year and have also reported seeing Baloo last month.

AG has Ariel plus 4 princesses (5 total). We also saw Snow White & Jasmine at Goofy's

He wasn't there in September. I think he usually only appears at Minnie's breakfast.

Besides at Goofy's Kitchen, we saw both on Main Street. And also "Vacation Goofy" at DCA.

Everytime we've seen them, Jesse and Woody have been together by Big Thunder Ranch. Buzz hangs out by Tomorrowland Terrace.

I think that was at the Trick or Treat party. He's been spotted there.

We have seen all of the princesses you mentioned at Ariel's (at separate times) except Pocahontas, we have never gotten lucky enough to see her on any of our trips. Same with Piglet.

We have seen Jessie, Woody, Buzz, Goofy, Pluto, Chip and Dale, Pooh, Tigger and Eeyore on almost every one of our trips.

Stitch we have seen at DCA, but not every time.

I have only seen Jessie and Woody over near BTMR, but yes, Buzz in TL.

I have seen Chip and Dale near the fire station on Main Street, they do a little show over there. Also, if you happen to have a Disney Visa, they are characters we always see at the meet and greet (I believe they rotate with Mickey and Goofy?).

Ariel is always there, with 4 others, but they do rotate.

Not sure about after the stage show, but Aladdin and Jasmine can sometimes be seen in Adventureland. They have a little area where they used to do storytelling that they hang out at. Never have seen Genie at DL.

BTW a good hint to find characters is to check with the cast member at the wait time board in addition to the printed entertainment time sheet. They can often provide you with specifics and at one point a character hosted was stationed there to give even more info.

We've seen Chip & Dale near the Mad Hatter at Town Square too, and as Kayla's mom says they do their little show near the Fire Station. I didn't see them signing autographs after the show though. Also Dale was wondering around Hollywood Backlot in DCA rather aimlessly one afternoon.

Unfortunately they don't.

We did see both Aladdin and Jasmine hanging out at Aladdin's Oasis though. The storytelling was closed when we were there last fall, but the location seems to have been turned into a more or less unofficial character meeting point. A friend of mine reported that they even had a Photopass photographer with them last summer.

Lilo & Stitch's Breakfast is the only time I have seen Daisy, and that was at the photo stop only. She may or may not be there.

She wasn't there when we arrived and had our picture taken, but showed up maybe 30 minutes into our meal. I waited until there was no one in line, asked the photographer if I could meet her and she told me it as okay.

She took a picture with my own camera and I also requested that she used hers and paid for a second photo package. Maybe me offering to buy the second package was the key. I had heard before that others were refused the same request.

Wanted to give an update. . Went to Minnie 's and friends breakfast at Plaza Inn last week. Had a great time and yummy food. Got pics with 10characters in an hour and 10 minutes, try doing that somewhere else in the park! Would highly recommend.

minnie, chip, dale, hook, tigger, pooh, eeyore, rafiki, fairy godmother, max, and sometimes other characters (piglet has made appearances here! as have the tweedles!). that said, birthday parties ONLY have mickey and minnie. it's just a meet and greet with photos, no autographs

PCH-
lilo, stitch, mickey, minnie, goofy, sometimes max

Storytellers-
haven't been there yet, so i'm not sure who comes out

Goofys Kitchen-
haven;t been here either, but many characters

around the park, for meet and greets, your best bets to see many characters are:


Town Square
Toontown
In front of the castle
Critter Country at Poohs Corner
Tomorrowland by the water ball
Golden State (near that outdoor playground)

Most characters in Disneyland are considered atmosphere. so you can't count on finding a character in the same spot at all times of the day every day. characters can wander within parameters. so if a cast member tells you that you can find mickey in town square at 5pm, there won't be a specific spot. most characters stay around the firehouse, the flagpole, and the hat shop wall, but you should definitely just look around. But Toontown and Critter Country are primarily photo op locations, so there's a set place to find these characters.


Sun Plaza is your best bet for characters in DCA. You'll see everything from Lilo and Stitch, Mickey and Minnie, Chip and Dale, Donald Duck, Goofy (you will find these characters there pretty much every day), 4 at a time. characters are out all day. if you want to see all of the characters, hang out for an hour and you'll see them all, or all who have come to meet their friends that day.

Jasmine and Alice are not always at Goofy's, but sometimes they are. They rotate with other characters. The ones that I have always seen any time I have been to Goofy's over the years have been Goofy (obviously), Chip, Dale and Pluto. Baloo is also usually there when we are there, but he was missing last time. Sometimes Minnie is there in his place. Sometimes it's Max. So they get a good core group of 5 characters are so, and then there is a cast of rotating characters who come in, depending on who is available. We have sometimes seen Jasmine and Aurora there together. We have seen Belle and Mulan there together. We have seen Belle and Jasmine together. Snow White was on her way in once as we were leaving. Alice has been there a couple of times when we were there (sometimes she is with the Mad Hatter and sometimes she isn't). Captain Hook and the Genie come in here and there. Sometimes it may be Aladdin or Prince Phillip. I have heard Cinderella has been spotted there. But they rotate. After that core group of 5, you never know who the others will be. I would say that lately, it is a pretty safe bet that you will see at least one Princess or face character, and most likely two together.

Tip: start from the last page of the thread and work your way backward rather than starting at page 1 and going forward, as that way, you will get a good idea of who has been at which meals more recently. We were in DL in February and they have changed the Lilo and Stitch PCH character dining. It is now Surf's Up with Mickey and friends. We met Mickey, Minnie, Stitch, Daisy and Pluto.
