Chores Around The House You Hate Doing.

I have just had to put out the black bags for the rubbish men (day later this week because of bank holiday) and as I had sorted out a number of old cupboards that I hadnt looked in for about 6 years this week, lets just say I had more than my fair shre to drag though the house, up the pitch black garden, to open the lane door only to find.........everybody else had put theirs outside my wall instead and there was no room for mine, so with marigolds on I have spent the last 10 mins distributing everybodys else bags a bit futher down and on top of each other just so that I can get mine out Grrr!

It then got me thinking about the chores I hate doing the most, and they are, in no particular order:

Putting out the Rubbish Bags.

Washing The Dishes.

Hanging out washing.

On the plus side, I love Ironing, changing the sheets and polishing. :thumbsup2

What do you hate doing around the house?????

Sue, you could come and do all the things I hate.............ie changing the sheets - especially doing the buttons or studs at the bottom of the duvet cover and ironing!! :thumbsup2 I could come and put out all your rubbish bags and do all your dishes in return.........;)

You've got yourself a deal Cath :thumbsup2

When I flat shared we used to play poker to see whose turn it was to clean the toilet :stir:
I can cope with any job as long as it is not bathroom duty :confused3

I hate ironing, hoovering and cleaning the windows. Don't mind changing the bed linen, polishing or tidying up.

The only things I can't stand are washing dishes and putting the kitchen bin bags out into the wheelie bins. The smells just make me gag, last time I did dishes I literally did about three before running to the bathroom and throwing up. I will happily dust, vac, iron, do the washing, change the beds - everything - in exchange for Scott to do those jobs. Toilet duty doesn't phase me in the slightest, I just never let it get bad enough for it to be off putting!

I hate all housework, in any way, shape or form. Having said that, if I had a choice (and that is a massive 'IF' seeing as DH is completely undomesticated), I would prefer dusting and hoovering to anything else.

My worst one, like Reid, is bathroom cleaning. It's such a pain and then only gets dirty again within a day or so of being cleaned. I usually tell DH not to use the bathroom once I've cleaned it - he never listens though :rotfl:

I don't like housework full stop - which is why I often pay a cleaner. I'm without one at the moment and hate having to do it all. If pushed I don't mind waxing the tables - but my absolute pet hate is emptying the dishwasher.

I'm used to cleaning toilets! I'm a hospital domestic, I have to check about 20 a night when I'm at work, home is a doddle after that! My hated jobs are putting away the supermarket shopping and cooking. Any offer for a swap gratefully received :rotfl2:

Lizzy, I will gladly put away your shopping - I like doing that. Be warned, we have 3 toilets though ;)

If I have time, I don't mind any of it :) at the moment I just don't seem to have any spare time :)

l hate folding the knickers, socks etc out of the tumble-dryer, cleaning the bathroom (after 3 boys) and ironing other than that l dont mind housework :lmao:

I hate hoovering, it always kills my back and I've tried dozens of types of hoover - it always hurts, apart from that I don't mind anything else except I do hate letting it all pile up so I feel I have to do it all in one day

I just hate housework, but it has to be done, and if i have been on the dis in the morning then i end up rushing around trying to play catch up ;) the worst thing is that people always tend to come and visit when i havent started on the tidy up cos i have been too busy on here. its all your fault dissers!!!! :rotfl2:

I don't mind hoovering and dusting, but I hate ironing and changing the sheets/duvets off the beds. I would gladly hire a cleaner but I'd end up tidying up before she came :lmao:

I dont iron so thats not a problem!

I detest cleaning the Loo and putting away grocery shopping

I don't mind tidying before any cleaner as at least I then don't have to clean ;) .

Oh I love ironing the best, I could iron all day if I had to, I do both of my friends ironing as well, I think the secret for easy ironing is the size of the board, I have quite a large ironing board so you can cover most of the item in one go, mens shirts are my absolute favorite thing to iron....how sad am I :lmao:
