I'm anticipating a fairly large increase in AP prices this year in anticipation of star wars. Normally, I'd purchase a normal ticket from UT and lock in a discount and then upgrade.
But if I'm reading the sticky post right, if I buy a normal ticket now, the price that it would be bridged to would be Disney's price from when the ticket was printed - and not the price on whatever day I upgrade. If so, I wonder if would be better to just get the AP vouchers now (can get a little discount from AAA) to lock in the price. (Probably will activate in November at latest).
Any thoughts on which method makes the most sense now?
