Choosing my FP+

My window opens up at 11:00pm CDT this Friday. Of course I am going to out of town in a hotel room with only my iPhone to use, so I will have to use the app. The only FP+ I was really going to try and get that night were A&E, Soarin' for our Epcot Day and TSMM for our DHS day, and then book the rest when I get home to my computer. Can I do that? I keep reading about people having to choose priorities and sets of rides? It's hard not knowing what I am going to see when I start the process.

From my experience I could not find Anna and Elsa on the app I had to go through the website

Anna and Elsa fastpass is probably the only one that you will want to try and get as early as possible. Even though Soarin' and TSMM are very popular, those time slots don't fill up right away.

Right now the fp+ selection system is set up so that you will have to pick three selections per day. If you only make one choice, for example, it will assign two other selections for you. Hopefully, some day this will change and guests will have more flexibility when it comes to selecting fastpasses. In fact, since you are still pretty far out from your trip date, the system might have been improved by then.

What time on your selection day does the window open? Is it midnight, or sometime after?

For A&E, you will want to use a laptop/PC to book. The MDE app can't be trusted to show/book A&E FPP currently, according to previous feedback.

Other tip is to try and schedule towards the end of your trip. Onsite people with 60 day+length of stay advantage may have dates already booked at the start of your trip. I booked at day 7 of our trip and was able to get all 4 of us at once for A&E - no copying needed.

You'll need to select three when initially booking. Then you can go back and edit/change your selections.
