Choosing between AKV, VWL, SSS studio rental

I once again have procastinated and cannot get an epcot DVC resort for our FWF trip. DH and I must choose between AKV Savanah view or VWL or SSS. Please give me your opinions of which one to choose!

About us:
We will be in the world for 5 nights, 6 days, spending some to all of each day at Epcot. We have stayed in the SSS 2 bdrm b4 but did not use any of the facilities. We will have our own car but since it is the food and WINE festival, we will probably use the transportation system a lot. We would like to stay somewhere with shorter bus rides. Restuarants and pool are also important (might have nieces and nephews over for the day). Also we hate long walks, I know that can't be avoided at DW, but I would like to minimize as much as possible.

Please help! I am so indecisive. And thank you in advance, DVC owners. We love to rent points and you guys are always so helpful. In six years we retire to Florida and will become owners ourselves

I am surprised that AkV Savanna and VWL are still available. I would pick VWL, it is closer to the monorail. How can you go wrong? Either of these are great properties. You can take the boat to the Monorail, then right over to Epcot, or ride the bus, you have two options.

I hope you at least waitlisted for an epcot resort, because you never know someone might cancel. oops sorry just noticed that you're renting, so I guess you can't do that.

As for the resort to choose...well SSR seems to be the closest to epcot, but AK is not far behind. VWL looked farther to me, by the map I was looking at. I haven't stayed at AK yet, so I'm not sure how the walks are to the rooms. You already know if you stay at SSR, you can pretty much park right outside your building. The pool is great, although I'm sure AK is too, but at SSR you are also closer to more restaurant choices at DTD. Bet the kids would love the animals at AK too. Sorry not much help am I?

If you look you at MK, VWL is at 5:00, if you look at AK, AKL is at just after 8:00 & if look at epcot...DTD is over to the right & upfront & SSR is right behind it at 12:00.

My choice would also be VWL - you are close to the Transportation Center/Monorail, seems the easiest.

I tried to book BWV's for F&W, and all days were open (1 bdrm) but one for our week. Didnt really feel like switching resorts, so we opted to try AKV this fall. Really looking forward to it!

did you try for BLT - it has monrail access to Epcot.

would be really surprised if you couldn't get BLT for Sept/Oct.

since you are going to the f/w would try for a standard view studio at BLT.

Ya, I would try BLT too first. Then I think VWL - that way you can take the boat to Cont. then hop on monerail to epcot.
