Choosing August dates

Hi,
We’re trying to choose between August 15-18 or August 22-25.
I’ve read a bit about the impact of schools starting up and pass holders being allowed back. Will there be much of a difference between the two weeks we’re looking at?
Is there anything else we should consider?
I know it’s difficult to predict!

Although you are probably fine either way, the later you go into August, the more likely you’ll encounter a Haunted Mansion closing.

I’d be a little worried about not having a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday as part of my trip. Although less of a problem in the Summer, sometimes shows are only offered Fri. - Sun.

Also, Mondays are often more crowded than Fridays.

As for crowds, the main concern should probably be Holiday weekends. Other than that, we’re all subject to the whim of Disney’s reservation offerings.

We don't know the dates of oogie boogie bash yet. It typically starts after Labor Day.. however is keeps getting earlier and earlier and at DisneyWorld they start Halloween in august.. so I'm just saying it could happen with the later date. We don't know yet.

I personally don't think there would be a big difference in those dates.

I’m kind of overthinking this!

If my number one priority is low crowds will we notice a big bump when the pass holders are allowed back on the 22nd?
