Choosing a DVC to stay at

SSR and OKW aren't going to have a great location getting to the parks. Go Boardwalk.

I've stayed at both and never had any bus problems. OKW is right next to Epcot and about eight minutes to MK.

We seldom stay at BWV because of the parking situation there. We always drive and both times we stayed there, parking was a real headache. The blocked off the entire larger parking lot for convention guests at the BWV and didn't reduce the Valet parking, leaving very little for guests. And then you get the non-guests who don't want to pay to park at Epcot or DHS, so they try to park at the BW.

That's what I was afraid of... I don't want to spend a lifetime of busses to get to the fun. That's why we've stayed at Pop Century so many times-- I like their bus service (for a value resort).

LOL, but you'll spend a whole lot more time walking to the bus at Boardwalk. We love it there, but usually drive to MK or anywhere else that we can't take the boat. We're not huge fans of the bus, the Boardwalk bus will also stop at Swan and Dolphin (2 stops) so net time may be close to the same as OKW, can't say about SSR, haven't stayed there for any length of time. The OKW bus is always great, the stop is really close to the entrance at the theme parks.

We love OKW as well, it's VERY central to everything and has the boat to Disney Springs, which is a nightmare to drive or take a bus to.

BWV and OKW have Community Hall, which is a great place to take a 7 year old for daily activities, free games, crafts, board games and lots of fun stuff to do if you plan to spend time at the resort.
