Choosing a Disney DJ?

So as a part of my Wishes wedding and my reception location (ADH), we are required to use Disney entertainment vendors. I don't have an issue with this, as we have decided we want a DJ for our reception. Does Disney give you a list of DJ's to choose from? Or do they just throw one at you and that's who you have to use?

I was given DJ Chuck. They just told me that he was going to DJ and since I did not have anyone specific in mind, I never inquired.

Scooter the DJ was ours. We didn't get to choose but our planner said that she knew he would be a good fit for us so I trusted her and she was definately right. He was awesome!

Our planner chose our DJ for us after asking us what kind of party we wanted. We wanted a club atmosphere with music similar to what the clubs played here in Miami. My planner, carol, told us DJ Steve would be best for that kind of environment. And he didnt disappoint. He was amazing.

We also had DJ Scooter. We were doing engagement pictures with Misty and her husband a few months before our wedding and she highly recommended him. When talking to our planner we made this request which they did. We loved him. He was really great. He got everyone up and dancing. Our reception was also at ADH.

We told our planner, Marion that we wanted someone who would not play music so loud people would have to shout to talk, someone who would play what we asked for, and who would get the guests on the dance floor. She responded she had the perfect person! DJ Charles Miles..and she couldn't have been more right. He was awesome..I knew from our phone conversation that he was going to be great. In my mind though he would have to be amazing cause we have a family friend who's a DJ and he is really good. Charles was AWESOME!! He was more like an old friend than just a DJ.. Everyone said they were so surprised that during dinner, they could talk rather than shout, how the music for the rest of the reception wasn't too loud either, and that he was tons of fun

I sent an email to my planner yesterday about the DJ...we want someone that can get a small group up and dancing, someone who is interactive and plays great music. So, hopefully she can get us the perfect DJ for us...
