I know I have not reached Fiend status yet, but my ears were outside my passenger window this past weekend in the 800 loop.

Why would you think that

Not otters but I just thought I'd let you know to keep an eye out for a bobcat, my DH and DD saw it last week running from behind the bar at WL beach area towards the Fort. DD has been involved with animals/worked at zoos for the last 10 years and so I trust her when she says it was def. a bobcat.

Cool,,I usta live in central Florida,,and I've seen some pretty big kitties too,,not at the Fort, but in other woods/forest.
I absolutely believe your DD knows what she's talk'n about.,

I've seen bobcats quite a few times at the Fort,,, unfortunately, not since they cleared out all the foliage. We had one run directly in front of us one time when we were walking from the 1200 loop to the Meadow(s) trading post.

This trip we had to stop our cart on 1800 to let 11 female turkeys (yep, I counted them) cross the road. I wasn't aware that turkeys "flocked"!!

I have seen many Nutria at the Fort, which may be confused with otters and bobcat.

Thanks Frank! Appreciate the comments. I can't take credit for the buggy though, it was a rental. It was fun to drive around in with the lights on and the music playing.

We have the exact same covered fire pit.
Isn't the pool simply awesome since they re-did it.
