Hi, as a lot of you know I have been planning my Christmas 2010 holiday for some time now and had it all sorted in my head - and now I have been thinking!!:lmao:

I have phoned Dreams Unlimited and they have priced up the 7 night Xmas Wonder Western Caribbean cruise for me, compared to the 11 night Southern Caribbean I currently have booked. Overall (by the time I change around hotels etc Option 2 (the new one!!:goodvibes) works out about £1200 cheaper..so.... which would you do....

Option 1 -

7 nights MK view at the poly
11 night Southern Caribbean DCL for xmas
5 nights Fort Wilderness cabin for New Year
5 nights Hard Rock Hotel

or

Option 2 -

12 nights MK view at the poly
7 night Western Caribbean DCL for xmas
7 nights Hard Rock Hotel for New Year

Any thoughts greatly appreciated!!:thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

option 2 as its cheaper and there isnt as much packing and unpacking to do on this one .enjoy :thumbsup2

Definately option 2 - you are still getting a good mix of hotels and the relaxing cruise but you save over a £1000 which goes a long way towards your spending money.

If it wasn't such a difference in price I would say option one but £1200 is a lot of spending money or money towards a return trip.

i love the sound of option 2, we were lucky enough to spend one night at poly with a mk view for our wedding and loved it so to spend 12 nights would be great

Option 2.
Even though option one is a nicer itinerary in my opinion, it's not worth the difference.

I'd say 2 as I wouldn't like to move from Poly to FW, and also because 12 nights at Disney in one go would be my preference.

And 7 days at sea would be plenty for me - I'd rather have more time in florida. :teeth:

thanks everyone!!:goodvibes

I spoke to DH when he arrived home from work and he has advised me that he isn't 'that bothered' about staying at the poly for 12 days!!:scared1: Well now I am in a quandary as the poly for 12 nights is over £4k - so I'm not spending that sort of money if he's 'not bothered!!!'......so......

Would you still do option 2 - if we were to change the first week to say WL, and then do just 5 nights at the Poly??:confused3 (HE might not be bothered but I REALLY am!!:rotfl:). This would probably save us another £500 (we will also now add a car for a few days as DH has also said he doesn't fancy 12 straight nights of Disney food!!!- otherwise we'd have porbably saved £1k!!)

I know some of you liked option 2 because it was less moving around, so would you still choose that option if we changed hotels at WDW?? (I understand it is relatively easy to get bell services to move you from WDW hotel to WDW hotel??!!:confused3)

Sorry to be a pain - my head is going round and round with it all!!:lmao:

I would!! 7 nights WL/5 night Poly would awesome! WL looks beautiful!!!

You just made option 2 a definite in my opinion!!

WL is gorgeous, that just made option 2 more attractive in my opinion. and saving another £500: bonus!

I also like WL :) It is lovely at Christmas - option 2 was also my choice because of the packing - I can't be bothered nowadays (like to stay in one place) - but have done it before!

Option 2 with 7 nights @ WL & 5 @ Poly would be my choice too. I loved the WL when we stayed in December.

As for transferring your luggage from one WDW resort to another- it is so easy. Pack your stuff, ring bell services & tell them where you want it transferred to, then they will come to the room take your cases & give you a ticket. Thats it - just the same process as if they were storing it for you. :thumbsup2 It will arrive approx 2 - 3 pm at the new resort.

I would go with option 2 (either suggestion) as 7 nights on a cruise would be amply for me. I would rather be in Orlando for longer.

Option 2 with the WL option sounds fab, all options sound wonderful!
