Choice between CR concierge and WL concierge???????

If you have to choose between the CR concierge or WL concierge which would you go for and why???? We stayed at the CR and loved it but are debating on trying the WL. Thanks for your help.

Not an easy decision. I haven't tried either yet, but here's my take. I like the WL theme and the addition of the new concierge lounge seems to have stepped things up a notch there. The CR is a little on the futuristic side, but I like the changes they are making to their rooms. It's within walking distance to the MK, my favorite park and I'd love to have such an upclose view of the fireworks. With the 12th floor just starting the process of becoming a full service concierge level, I think I'd choose the CR.

we're at the CR concierge now and i'm a bit disappointed in it...
it's not at all up to the level of any of the other concierges we've stayed at (GF, YC, BC, AKL)....well....it is better than the old WL concierge....
but since they've upgraded the WL concierge i don't know what the comparison would be now...

we decided to try the CR this year (for a few days), but i really don't like it...
it doesn't have that ambience that i love in the other WDW hotels......this one is just a hotel....
it's true that it has walk in convenience to the MK, but that's not enough to make a difference...

it was nice being able to watch Wishes from our balcony, so that was worth the effort....but we would never stay here again....

we'll be heading over to the WL concierge from here, so if you want i can let you know how that is....and how i think it compares to the CR concierge....

i just re-read your post and saw that you love the CR.....if that's the case, then i guess you would enjoy the concierge here....i'm just not in love with the CR....also the concierge service isn't on the level of the other hotels...for example, the check in isn't as well done as the AKL or GF or WL....

I'd stay CR concierage, hands down. Keep in mind they have full concierage and light concierage. Rehab of concierage is underway right now. Look at www.allearsnet.com to see the new rooms.

we're on the 14th floor, but the 12th floor seems to be business as usual as well....

Isn't odd how we can all have such different experiences! I much prefered the CR 14th FL CL to the YC or BC and it was heads and hands over the GF SL experience we had.

I hear you there. It lacked the whimsical theming that other WDW hotels offer. It had more of the feel of a reasonably high end business hotel, like a Hilton or Hyatt. I wouldn't rule out staying there again, but it wouldn't be the first choice. I did want to say we had no problem with check-in, although the 14th floor wasn't half full when we were there.

I believe they are working on the 10th floor right now. When that's finished, they will relocate the "light concierge" here. Based on some of the postings by other DIS'ers who've received notification from the CR, the 12th floor will be done around January. At which time, it will become full service.
