Chocolates?

I was also wondering about all the leftover candy from MNSSHP. They are small wrapped candy bars. Do you think I can take them on my carryon? I hate to throw away perfectly good candy.. and my fear is melted chocolate all over my checked baggage.

if they are not liquid or gel, no issue.

Daisy, you have some WILL POWER keeping the Godiva until you leave. It would have been history days ago if it were me.

I don't think the box will get damaged if you wrap them in clothing and keep them in your suitcase.

Have a great time! I'm so jealous!

If anything you may can call the airline you are travelling and maybe ask if this would be a problem. I wouldnt think it would be, but ever since this hairy horse poop came about it seems that anything is pretty much game and can be used which really is awful for the innocent people in this world to have to suffer cause of some selfish others. I am used to taking my starbucks onboard with me and now looks like that's out of the question. I would just ask rather than risk having a good box of godiva ruined. :bride: :groom:

Yeah, you might just come across a security officer who loves Godiva and tells you not to carry it on. Then you'd have to either give it up to them or stand there and stuff it all in your mouth before going through security! It would be a difficult decision to make for me.

The airlines are not responsible for the rules and won't be able to help - TSA rules are the ones which must be followed.

Again, I have taken chocolate through many times in the last 5 weeks with no issues at all.

And stay tuned, the rules may change again shortly - both the UK and Canada are considering changes (the UK was actually less strict that the US lately; Canada was more strict)
