Which is best IYO? Ghiradelli is a bit bitter for me......I vote on Godiva.

I love Ghirardelli! Especially the caramel squares. Yummy!

I have a DB that lives in Brussels and is constantly sending chocolate (I have several bars in the freezer). So I've been spoiled and don't really do domestic anymore ;) . If I had to choose I'd say Dove minatures.

Ethel M chocolates in Las Vegas. I worked there for a short time, they had candy dishes everywhere ;)

Um, Lewski709, you seemed to have left off the absolute best chocolate in the world. Of course that's WONKA. I just don't know how anyone could choose anything else.

Straight up chocolate like a candy bar..Dove.

For hot fudge..Dove

But for baking I love Ghiradelli and for Hot Cocoa I love Godiva.

Dh loves Philippine chocolates..but I say Yuck!LOL!

We have all the wars in our house..cola, chocolates, red and white sauce..you name it..we disagree.LOL!

Milka chocolate. I fell in love with it when a BF brought me some from Germany......:D

I voted for Ghirardelli, but I'd be happy with any of those choices. There is no bad chocolate!

Looking forward to my next visit to Ghirardelli's in DTD... and a Mickey Ice Cream bar... :sunny:

Neuhaus from Belgium - last time I saw it was in Chicago a couple of years ago and it was over $40 a pound!!!

I love Cadbury if it's from England or Australia - the one in the US is made by Hershey and is not as good.

Cadbury Crunchies! I discovered those in Ireland and every so often, hit the Irish store to get my fix. Mmmmm....

I voted for Godiva! :)

I voted for Ghiradelli, the baking squares are perfect for Chocolate fondue, and the chip and cocoa make awesome choclate chip brownies... but I love the cadbury, if it is not from the US.

I will take any and all chocolate 'cept for the kind that tastes like cardboard.. since I am very addicted to chocolate.

I prefer a locally made chocolate, it is fresher and better, IMHO

I voted for Ghiradelli, but I love Ethel M, Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, Dove's Promises, Hershey's Special Dark Bars etc........... I just love chocolate anything really!!!::yes:: ::yes::

All time fave........Lindt truffles. Especially the dark chocolate ones. I like the mint ones by them also.
Dove is the best "regular" chocolate that you can buy almost anywhere.

Cadbury...but only from England (not the US)
