My family doesn't drink (ever). I've heard there's a chocolate tasting on our cruise, but have also seen it listed as a chocolate and wine event. Does anyone know where I can get more details? I'm fine to go and skip the wine (more room for chocolate!) if that's possible.

Agree with both posts above. If you love chocolate - go to the dessert tasting in Remy. The Chocolate and liquor tasting is all about how chocolate changes the taste of wines and liquors when sampled together. And there is not enough in each serving of chocolate to really get you the chocolatey sweet "fix" you're looking for. Little taste + little sip = something a little unexpected on your taste buds.

I've done both. The dessert tasting in Remy does have an optional wine pairing. But the desserts themselves are so worth it. I'm not much of a drinker, but I did learn to appreciate how the chocolat did change how the wine or liquor tastes. Still didn't make me like scotch, even though I told it was a VERY good scotch. It did teach me to like champagne and red wine.
