Chocolate Soufle at Palo Bar?

...but am I correct in understanding that you can go to Palo's, say after dinner, sit at the bar and order a drink a dessert without reservations and without the $10 per person charge?

That's awesome...if it is so! The "girls" might like to do this after dinner while Daddies take kiddies swimming.

I got the soufle at the main dining room on the last night of the cruise, it was WONDERFUL...I had told our server we wouldn't be at dinner the next night since we were goin to Palo, well my daughter didn't cooperate-she went to the club when we went to high tea and to brunch but wanted nothign to do with it after that- so we showed up atthe dining room and they asked what happened...I told them about my daughter not goign to the club and that it figured since it was my 3rd cruise and I had yet to go to Palo and all I wanted to do was try the soufle,, well the last night they gave everyone menues around us excpet me and my mom....they said they had a special one for me....our asst. server dissappeared and ran and got us 2 soufles that they had ordered for us at the beginning of dinner...it was so awesome!

That is cool that your servers could do that for you. Someone at our table wanted to try the souffle too and since we had had some mishaps our head server wanted to make it up to our table. He tried but I think they are getting tired of everyone trying to get them or something because he couldn't get them. He said they wanted to keep it a special Palo experience. My DH and I went to dinner there though and we were able to get an extra souffle to go. I said it was for our daughter, but I really gave it to the woman at our table who was not with anyone over 18 to go with...

But that was the best 1500 you ever spent.

And shoot, if you're going to spend 1500 anyway, you might as well have one of the best desserts I've ever tasted and is to die for!!!!
