Chocolate Moose pillow pet...where are you??? (UPDATE POST#1)

To the OP, did you order from that website you found? I just found out that they make a triceratops pp and everyone wants a ton for them. Just curious how that worked out.

I'm on the hunt for a Triceratops too, but $43.00 for one?? :scared1: Yikes!

I'm not sure how they compare price-wise, but I bought a Fiesta Toys brand pillow-pet-style giraffe at Disneyland a few years ago, and I think the faces are so much cuter than the pillow pets'. (Although that chocolate moose has me second guessing myself:rotfl:) It's incredibly soft and has held up very well to the rigors of night-time tossing and turning, including multiple machine washings. I know for a short while they were getting rid of the generic animals and introducing disney characters, but now I can't find any evidence of them. I'm pretty sure one was Tigger, but I can't find any proof that he ever existed. If someone had the inkling and the time I'm sure they could find one online :surfweb: Just thought I would throw out some other options for consideration, in case anyone was interested.

My DD has a Fiesta brand elephant that we got at Disneyland. He's very cute, and I've been pleased with the quality too.

The ones sold at the parks are $25.95.

The only Disney ones I've seen personally are Tigger and Pluto, but I think they are, or were, available in several other characters as well.

I agree with the swap meet advice for the regular Pillow Pets. A friend dragged me to one just last weekend and there was a booth with tons of PP's, and I'm pretty sure they were the official brand everyone is looking for. I wandered over briefly and the guy was all about making me a deal if I bought more than one. I didn't pay much attention to which animals were available though since I wasn't really interested.

Our Hallmark has Pillow Pets, too, as well as the Hallmark exclusive reindeer.

I just bought the purple hippo on Sunday at Hallmark. :)
