chocolate mickeys

When we had the slipper back in
April all I had to give was 48 hours notice. Good Luck:bounce:

Thanks Robyn and Dawn77! I can't wait to see niece's and nephew's faces when they bring them the desserts.

I ordered slippers for our trip about 2 weeks in advance and had to give them a credit card #. They said it wouldn't be charged until the actual dinner.

Sorry to bring back an older thread, but do you just tell your server/CM that you ordered them, or how do they know to bring them to you? Can you get them at the 1900 Pk Fare dinner with Cinderella?

Thanks, Steph

It's too bad the glass slipper is only available at the GF. I really want one, for sentimental reasons, but I'm all PSed out already. Would it be uncouth to one for dessert with a cup of tea but no dinner?

I was wondering if the Glass Slipper or Chocolate Mickey can be counted as your dessert using Silver Plan wishes. I will probably order one anyway, but I was just wondering. We are planning dinner at Narcoosee's and I think that it would be a nice touch.

Hubyy and I will be celebrating 20 years of marriage "magic" on July 28th. We will be celebrating at Disney World. We have PS for our anniversary night at the California Grill at Contemporary.

We booked a late night dinner so we can see fireworks around dessert time.

I called the GF and asked about getting the slipper and/or Mickey at "grill". They said I should call directly. I spoke with Jason at the "grill" bakery where they do all the desserts for restaurant.

He said you can get BOTH!! They have to make arrangements for slipper but it can be dome. He also said they already do the Mickey, and he described it as a Mickey with a Top Hat and cane. Sounds neat!!

I can't wait to see hubbies face, as it is a surprise!!

So call restaurant ahead of time to see if they can do it. And Jason said to call in advance especially for slipper for "grill" since special arrangemenst have to be made.

Hope this all helps!
Blessings,
Winnie

I am VERY interested in doing something like this too, either the slipper or the Mickey or BOTH! I fell in love with the idea when I saw them in Samantha's room on the "Great Hotels" show featuring the GF. Yum!

I am a bit confused as to how you can have them for dessert at 1900 Park Fare? How do they get them to you for your dessert?

We will probably be eating there this August and October and I would love to surprise my family!

Does anyone know how they coordinate getting it for dessert?

Or does anyone know of a way to have it in our room at either the BWV, BC or Cont Tower as a welcome surprise??? We're staying at all three this year! I'd like them at either of these hotels. Anyone know? I read another thread where some people had them waiting in their room at BWV or BC but I haven't got a clue how to arrange it in our rooms if only the GF makes them??

Thanks for ANY help you can give!:teeth:

Does anyone know if you can order this dessert in the Epcot restaurants? Where do I get the number to dial the restaurant directly??

We are eating at R & C and Alfredo's next week, and I think it'd be great fun to surprise my son with one!!

Thanks!

According to my notes, the chocolate slipper dessert can also be ordered at the Beach Club by calling BCV private dining at (407) 934-3105. I haven't read anything about getting the chocolate Mickey, there, too, but I couldn't hurt to ask.

Good luck!

Pat

I ordered my chocolate slippers at 1900 Park Fare tonight and asked how they would know how to get them to us. I was told that when you check in for the PS just let the person at the podium know that you ordered them in advance and they will put a note in for the waiter so they will bring them right over after dinner.

Has anybody tried asking for this? DD is allergic to milk, but can have dark chocolate. I'd be willing to order this for her if it's available.

Dark chocolate anything will do, but the slippers are obviously elegant. We'll be having my SD's birthday supper at Park Fare, so I want one for her, but I can't get something my youngest can't have, not something that delectable.

How many kids do you figure could share one without bloodshed? Is one enough for my three girls?

If nobody knows, I'll call GF myself once my PS is secure at 1900 Park Fare.

Thanks!

Kris

We're having Christmas dinner at 1900 Park Fare. I think I'll order the slipper for me and the Mickey and strawberries for my son. :hyper:

how about narcosses??? can I order a slipper for there? were you able to order a dark chocolate one??

Just doing a bump. We are doing the 1900 Park Fare dinner and would love to have these slippers and choc Mickey's for dessert. Does anyone know do the slippers come on a white choc plate or a real one. I have read about both. How do you get the choc plate? My kids would love this. Also, are you able to order the dog bones at this dinner? Thanks for any help. It is greatly appreciated.
