Anyone know if there's a way to order 2 of the Mickey's and have them sent to a room at the AKL? My dad and his wife are celebrating their anniversary this Wed. at AKL and I have a basket of choc. being delivered but if I could add Choc. Mickey's for Thursday that would be awesome.

Anyone ever tried to have them delivered to a room? IF so, what # did you call or order them

Thanks for any info/or other ideas

Thanks UKTigger. When we make our PS I will ask if we can get the choc plate. My boys will love the dog bones. Thanks again. :)

I am also wondering if they can be ordered for AKL. My DH turns 45 while we are there in Nov. It would be a GREAT surprise for him! Anyone know???

IMHO, I think every resort does some kind fancy stuff. THe people to call at AKL would probably be in-room dining.

I called BWV in-room dining and was told I could order a white Choc Mickey with choc covered Strawberries or by itself and that they also had a chocolate BWV logo piece. I ordered the Choc Mickey and the choc strawberries.

Good luck!

I called GF bakery; you CAN get dark chocolate slippers, but you have to give them about three weeks notice, as they order them directly from the manufacturer, special order. However, they have milk fat in them. The white chocolate slippers have skim milk powder in them.

So...no slippers for DDs, and I'm glad I never mentioned them. I'm sure there'll be lots of other things to munch contentedly on!

At least I've been reassured over and over again that Dole Whips, despite their appearance, are dairy free!

I odered the mickey for our anniversary at the WL . I called room service and asked if they did anything fancy or special and all they do is wine and tuxedo strawberries and a chocolate cake. The women I spoke to talked to a chef and they said they would get the mickey from another resort and have it waiting in the room when we get back with a bottle of fairytale cueve. I wanted to do something else so I just ordered a slipper and the mini castle cake for the tea at gf. I ordered about 6 weeks out.

You should probably call the hotel directly and see if they have an extension for room service. I don't think they do but your best bet would probably be to try them.Good luck.

Has anyone ever gotten a chocolate Mickey at the Poly?? Leaving in a couple of days and I want to surprise my niece..she is going to love it.

Please help!!:hyper:

Hi, I stayed at the Poly LVC in the Hawaii building and I did order the standing mickey white chocolate gold dusted and they ordered him for me which was in the room the day we checked in. We brought him home, no onme had the heart to snap a piece of mickey off:-) You could call and ask if you can order it or get there and ask them to order it to be delivered to your room a few days after that.
