Chocolate Cheerios.....Be Very Afraid!!

My kids and DH are addicted to them, it seems I'm buying Chocolate Cheerios every time I go to the store. I like them as a snack every once in a blue moon as well. I'm with the others who suggest you may have gotten a bad box.

Well, I do stand corrected!!:goodvibes

I thought they were pretty good dry, but not with milk.

I have the 2 big bags and I like the yogurt idea and Im thinking they will taste ok mixed in with some low fat cool whip:thumbsup2

Thanks for the ideas:wizard:

I love Chocolate Cheerios :lovestruc In fact that is what I had for breakfast this morning and a snack last night.

Chocolate Cheerios are great! My daughter mostly eats them 'dry' - she takes a baggie full to school most days and snacks on them during Physics class. She says that she shares with some others who sit at her table. I told her I think it's funny to imagine several 17 year olds sitting around eating Cherrios out of a baggie - just like they used to do as toddlers. lol

BTW, occasionally I will eat a bowl of Chocolate Cherrios with milk as an evening meal/snack, and I think they taste great.

My 13 year old eats these almost every morning. I have tried them once or twice and think they are great! Not too chocolately just a nice touch of chocolate.:thumbsup2

We have a hard time keeping these around the house because everyone loves them so much. DD11 and DS6 had them for breakfast this morning. :)

My kids LOVE the chocolate Cheerios - if they can GET them...my DH eats them all if he finds them first. :rotfl:

The first few times I bought them they were very good. However, the last time I got them they tasted stale and yuck. I think they may have a quality control problem.

I am boycotting Choclate Cheerios because they stopped making Chocolate Chex when the started making the Choc Cheerios! :rotfl: Choc Chex was da bomb!!!!

I like the chocolate cheerios. I was afraid to try them because I hate the Special K Chocolate. Chocolate Cherrios are actually very good.

Thanks for the warning.

We only got sugary cereal when I was growing up during our two week camping trip. One year we picked Cabbage Patch cereal (disgusting even dry) and another time when we were older we went to DL and thought we were smart picking something we didn't have up here in Canada Cinnamon Life that was also bad (we joked that it was so bad that Canada wouldn't allow it up here).

Cinnamon LIfe is my husbands FAVORITE cereal. In fact we are out of it right now and he just sent me an email asking me to pick some up on my shopping trip today.

He eats a bowl of it every morning. He wasn't sure what to do with himself this morning without it!

As for Chocolate Cheerios. I like the taste, they remind me a bit of Coco Puffs. I eat cereal that is a bit healthier (unlike my husband) so I wouldn't eat the Chocolate Cheerios for breakfast, but they might make a fun snack or be good in a trail mix.

I haven't tried the chocolate cheerios. I've been afraid to try them after trying the banana ones. Those are nasty!!!

We love the chocolate Cheerios!!! I could eat a whole box by myself:rolleyes1 These are great when I need a chocolate fix, which is quite often.

My kids love Chocolate Cheerios too! I agree with the thumbs down for the Banana Cheerios. We threw out a mostly full box because no one liked them.

chocolate cheerios are awesome !!! :lovestruc maybe you got a bad box. I eat them for breakfast (because they make the milk chocolate! YUM!) and bring a baggie full as a snack during the day. Love them!!! it's kind of a toss up for me with those and Special K chocolate. Both are really good for chocolate cravings ! (without a ton of calories)

Got to get ready for the butterfinger cupcake at Starring Rolls !! :lmao:

I'm with the OP, don't like them at all. I am a true choc lover, and these things just don't cut it. If I am going to eat chocolate, then I want choc, not some wannabe stuff.

OMG, were the banana ones ever DISGUSTING. No one in the house would eat them, and we finally threw them away (a BJ's-sized box no less!). Frustrating, but they were N-A-S-T-Y. :sad2:
