We went to Disneyland for the weekend for my niece's bday this past weekend, and after all my stressing about this color combo for our upcoming VR...

blue and brown are everywhere!!!!!

I bought THE CUTEST shirt that says "Happily Ever After", powder blue writing on a chocolate brown shirt with a little sparkles thrown in. So cute!!!!

Everywhere we went at DL there were shirts, bags, everything in brown/blue. As some of you pointed out, it must be trendy right now.

I love brown and blue together! Nice choices!

In all of my wedding magazines, I keep seeing brown and blue or brown and pink. One said brown and powder blue are fall colors!? I think it looks so old fashioned and 1950's-ish. I'm not a fan.

My best friend just got engaged and she sent me a link to the bed linens they are considering registering for - yup, chocolate brown and powder blue! They are definitely very "in" right now :thumbsup2

Yes Blue and Brown is big - I have also seen aqua and brown - I like last year it was pink and brown - though the pink may still be hanging on I think it is the blue this year. We are doing our bathroom in soft (not powder blue) blue and taupe - I think that is pretty

I love love love chocolate brown and powder blue! Those two colors are definitely the bulk of my wardrobe. In fact, I am wearing a powder blue shirt right now w/ a brown skirt. Go figure. Glad to hear I am finally "in". I think those colors will look beautiful for your wedding! Congrats on making your decision :)

Now, my ony dilemma is I think I want a blue dress, instead of the ivory one I had alreasy picked out.

(I originally wanted pink but I moved off that when I changed the color scheme to the brown/blue idea.)

Has anybody seen any good blue dresses? My original wedding dress was blue, I wish I could still fit into it!!!!!!

Hmmmm....Impressions did some that came in powder blue that I saw and they were really pretty. My favorite color is pink and I always wanted a gown with color in it so when I went shopping I was hoping the color would still be pink but it was blue which actually I love pink best but look better in powder blue- or try Maggie Sottero they usually do a lot of color in their gowns. I am just trying to think about the other lines I have looked at - i uesd to work at a bridal shop and I went in one day to help buy when a rep came to town - I saw the Impression line in person and liked what we saw- just depends on the style you are looking for and how much you are looking to spend - Impression/Emme are the same comapnay but they are not - they are out of the same house but get mad when you confuse their designs. You could also try Mon Cheri - I am not sure what the price range is on these Mon Cheri and Maggie are typicaly higher Mon Cheri 7-1500ish Impression is usually lower, that should be a jumping off point-

Bridegirl,
I saw someone on here who bought a blue and white Reem Acra replica from Julius Bridal. www.juliusbridal.com
I think the dress is Raquel. Here's some pics:

I think it's gorgeous.

my colors are choc. brown and an aqua kind of color, I LOVE them! they are so pretty together! glad you found a lot of things in those colors!

Thanks for the dresses ideas - I need to find something quick, I'm running out of time.

In the new Martha Stewart Weddings, pages 166-176 are ALL brown and blue stuff! So happy to keep seeing that.
