I've been dreaming of actually eating

Oh, girlfriend! I feel your pain!

Today I got to eat: plain scrambled eggs, toast, white rice, and vegan rice pudding. The rice pudding was a stretch. I think if I had to guess I ate a half a cup. Still, better than nothin'! I dream of real food, too. Food trip reports are killing me right now...I'm trying to avoid the restaurant board. Even food commercials on TV or watching actors eat makes me feel blech.

Honestly...and sadly...even thinking of funnel cake...or tonga toast...or dole whip right now....makes me sick to my stomach. Which is a testimony to how sick I really am.

D and I decided that we would have to risk our shoes and walk in the damp grass. The sun seemed to set at a rapid pace and we were now walking in the dark. This made me a little nervous. While I'm not afraid of the dark, I did not want to encounter deer, racoons, or skunks looking for an evening meal. Rabies shots and lyme disease were not on the agenda tonight.

I think I speak for all teachers when I say that no gift from a student is lamo! The very fact that students think about us when they aren't in the classroom is so touching to know!

Besides, those pens came from WDW! In my eyes, that makes them a super duper gift! I bet their teachers loved them!

I love all the gifts I get from my students. I have a wall in my classroom dedicated to drawings they give me.

I'm so excited that the 100th day mark is less than 2 hours away.
