Bagalini?

Did you use the Baggalini? I'm thinking about the messenger baggalini.

Hey I wear black socks with my Keen's but it just makes them look like shoes :confused3

Does that count agains't me??? :rotfl2:

Have fun and GOOD LUCK searching!!!!

That doesn't count against you :lmao:
I hear Keen's are really comfy. Would you recommend them?

Thanks!!! Off to see the last apartment of the day. I'm exhausted!

I just looked at Vera Bradley backpacks - but I think my back would be too hot. There was a small bag that had a long strap, to crossover, and I think it would fit a water bottle, albeit on its side, but I am considering it.
And as for FOOTWEAR... made DH buy a very good pair of Ecco sandals today. He hates to shop - I DRAGGED him into the shoe store. :rotfl: Pretty expensive for sandals, but he almost ended up in the ER with miserable blisters on top of blisters last year!! :headache: I hope this solves the problem. Oh, and I DID happen to buy another pair of Crocs sandals for myself....:rolleyes1

I have never owned Crocs. I haven't even tried them on. But I'm thinking they may be a good option for Disney. The ones that look like Mary Janes are really cute. Did your feet get really hot in them?

I have the Minnie Janes -- they were good for the pool and Typhoon Lagoon -- I kept tripping over my own two feet in them though so I wore my tennis shoes to the Magic Kingdom.

Well... here's MY Crocs story. :goodvibes
I started with the clogs. Day we are leaving, I run across the street to check in with my neighbor, run back, and trip on NOTHING, falling on my knees and hands in the middle of the street. What an idiot! :headache: So, I start off bloody. lol

After the first day (we go in JUNE), I realized that my feet were WAY TOO HOT for the clogs. So, I switched to my Crocs Athens flip flops and did great the rest of the trip. DD started with the clogs, hated them, and got blisters, then changed to the Crocs Capri flip flops and liked them. DH started with the clogs, got BLISTERS ON TOP OF BLISTERS, and went back to sneakers and socks. (and TONS OF BANDAIDS, MOLESKIN, Neosporin.. UGH)

I bought slides this time - they are cute - I hope I like them!

DD got Uggs flip flops and she's very excited about that1 :cheer2:

Blisters are not good. It can ruin the entire trip.
I get blisters pretty easily and am really looking for footwear that's comfy. I'll see what I end up getting.

I personally swear by crocs... year round... yes... in colorado ;) there are few days I am not in em.... At WDW especially are they wonderful... Compared to the first year when I was an Anti-Croc person my feet are so much more comfortable since I converted :thumbsup2 Yes feet sweat in em... but they cool off just as fast when you go inside :)

I'm thinking of getting a pair of the Mary Jane Crocs, but also bringing flip flops and sneakers. I am trying really hard to avoid blisters and have some comfy shoes to walk in. Plus, I've sprained both ankles before and hurt my knee (I'm a little accident prone) so I need something that's not going to aggravate my injuries.

I'd love to find a comfy pair of sandals.

Mary Jane Crocs would prob work best or u then... I too am accident prone... I don't have any more "accidents" with my crocs than I would if I was wearing normal shoes... they are definatly comfortable on your joints when you walk that's for sure...

So good to hear! I have to go the Crocs store in NYC this week. Or maybe get Disney ones :thumbsup2

They are comfortable....I haven't worn them as much as I thought I would, and being winter I haven't worn them with out socks.

The only down side I think they might have is they are very heavy, but have good thick soles on them that you could probably climb anything with :rotfl:

Which vera bag are you looking at??

The large backpacks are just huge and have no good pockets or dividers in them, which I think is a really a down side. I actually had one and returned it.

I have the Lindsay and the hipster, and I LOVE the hipster......both have straps that you can make long or short, but I like how the hipster falls on your side better.....I have become a Vera  FREAK lately, never loved them before :confused3 but now I just can't seem to get enough of it!!!!

Oh and the most important question....what's your favorite pattern??? :goodvibes

This has happened to me also, luckly not on the street, but it's happened in my house several times on my hardwood floors :headache:

I'd love to find a comfy pair of sandals.

You might look at the Keen's, there a few different kinds, and also look at Merrell shoes.....they are really comfy

I'm just a tennis shoe person....hot, cold, whenever....they are the MOST comfortable on my feet :yay:

:thumbsup2awesome!! Just so ya know you can only get disney ones from what i have seen in the basic style ... which is my fave hehe...

I saw the Mary Janes Disney ones at the World of Disney store two weeks ago. :goodvibes

I love Merrell's  They are so comfy!

I tend to just wear Nikes. My feet don't sweat and I don't have blisters. But I'd like an alternative.

I'm not sure which Vera Bradley patterns I was looking at. lol I will pay closer attention next time and report back, I promise! :goodvibes

I love Merrell's too. I bring them with me to Disney also. DH just rolls his eyes when he sees how many shoes DD and I bring on vacation!

I thought I had more pictures of the shrine, but apparently I don't!
Here are three - the first two are from last year, and the third is from the year before.
Beautiful sculpture inside the shrine of St. Jospeh and Jesus as a boy..

I did it. I made my first change to my ADRs. Since I had two ADRs for Kona (breakfast), I decided to ditch one of those and add Ohana's Best Friend Breakfast. So on August 16th, we'll have breakfast there before check out.

I'm excited about trying Ohana for breakfast. We had dinner there in January and absolutely hated it. The potatos and bread pudding was great, but the meats were dry and the service was the worst we experienced. We will NEVER go there for dinner again. I think our horrible experience really had to do with our horrible server.

I'm still debating Coral Reef. But I'm not sure which ADR I should switch. I'm also concerned about Whispering Canyon Cafe and California Grill. I love sushi, but I'm not sure this will meet expectations. And I'm worried about the Spirit of Aloha show. I hope T will enjoy it. I hope the food is good.

On a different note, the apartment hunting was successful. So successful that I found two apartments and can't decide. I filled out the application at one. I wasn't able to take pictures because the entire kitchen is being renovated. And the bathroom is being renovated as well. I'll wait until it's all ready and then I'll take pics :thumbsup2
