*Chocolate and Pixie Dust* - An August 2008 TR- 8/29 pg 6: Sort of an update

You need to have a couple of drinks!
I have two weeks until spring break. And it was a LONG week.

Cheers!!! :drinking1

I know we will be in the long haul when I get back -- our benchmark tests start the week after so it is review, review, review and the kids will have spring fever in a bad way! It's like pinning down butterflies from this point on!

You're right, I need more than one drink! :thumbsup2

Oh test prep is the worst! Are the benchmark tests statewide? Or a district thing?

My students have spring fever too. Actually, I do as well.

I need like 8 drinks :rotfl2:

Statewide and supposedly our entire worth as a school is measured by them! Blagg!

Me too and the constant raging Disney fever!

I need like 8 drinks :rotfl2:

I would like a couple of Banana Daiquiris from Siestas, the CSR pool bar -- preferably while lying in a lounge chair there. So much more comfortable than this computer chair! :sad2:

That is dedication! If that's the way your DH wants to go, driving is better than not going.

How are your kids on the ride home?

Better than not at all... that's right... on the way home they are usually so wore out from our WDW fun ;)

State tests are horrible!

I have Disney fever too and the only cure is another visit.

I want vodka and cranberry and a midori sour. I'd like it on the beach at the Poly!

Do they sleep most of the ride?

How are you able to drive straight through? I would be an insane woman.
We are insane mostly ;) The kids sleep alot of the ride... having a 12yo helps alot... and DVD players and stuff help too hehe

I just read about the tests,,Ben took something, (in 4th grade) not sure what.. but really hate his school! annie is starting K there in Sept also..
Sam is in H.S..and is doing real well so far..has a spec Ed teacher there..
Cant remember where I was going with this! :lmao:

Time for bed I think!! :rotfl2:

Mine too. Back to school on Monday. :sad2: I wish I had something in the house to drink, but I don't. I'll have to just look at all my drinking around World Showcase pictures.
OH Stage mom..I`m sorry!! :sad1: I work at a liquor store but I have the weekend off...

:lmao: I do that when I'm wide awake.

You must not get in the car once when you're at Disney.
i wish that were true.... DH prefers driving over Disney transportation:rotfl: but it's not a biggie to me... giving in to his few wishes makes life more fun for the rest of us ;)

I'm sure it's faster than Disney transportation.

I work with 6th graders. I'm not a teacher though. I'm an assistant teacher.

:worship: :worship:

6th graders is a tough age. I avoid teaching kids while they're going through puberty. It scares me.

I'm actually interviewing assistant teachers next week. If you want a job in NYC with benefits and free tuition for you and your family, consider relocated :lmao: Want to work with kindergartners?
