*Chocolate and Pixie Dust* - An August 2008 TR- 8/29 pg 6: Sort of an update

Oh I love Vera Bradley. I have to check out those bags, especially since it was not heavy.

I do too! :goodvibes I also have two cosmetic bags (one large and one small) and the travel bag thing in the matching pattern. I tried those out on this trip too. I was so sad to put them away this morning. :(

Thanks Tanya :flower3:
I'm definitely going to take you up on your offer. And if you need/want anything from the World of Disney store in NYC, let me know. I'd be happy to pick up and ship some goodies to you.

And iyour trip planning business is a great idea. When you get started, I'll be your first client!
I might take you up on that... I am however spoiled here in Denver... I have 5 Disney Stores within 20 minutes drive from my house and work plus intermittent disney liquidation store (just found that one and it's gone for a bit Disneyland stuff mostly) but If I see something I can't get there I'll keep you in mind... and u are so lucky... u live near my good pall Scottny :thumbsup2 He rocks!

I love the patterns. So pretty and so girly. You'll be taking them out soon enough! Maybe I should go buy the travel bag for my trip to Atlanta!

5 Disney stores??? I'd be in Heaven. I need to plan a ski trip for next February break and visit Denver.

Scottny does rock!

Hehe... that'd be cool :thumbsup2 I haven't gone to Ski in a long time... but one of these years lol.... go figure... live so close and never go :lmao: and yes... 5 stores = :cloud9:

I've never considered getting a mass schedule in WDW. I just figured it would be hard to find services or I'd have to travel far.

We go to Mary, Queen of the Universe Shrine - usually for the Saturday evening mass. They have a website with directions and schedule. The place is gorgeous. We've taken taxis most years, but this year I think we are going to rent a car right at the Dolphin, just for the day. I think it will be cheaper!

I always find a reason to buy a new bag ;)

Me too!! :goodvibes I carry my Coach "swingpack" (no fanny pack for me!) and make hubby carry a small Land's End/LL Bean style back pack for the "other stuff". ;) (he's so good) Might look into a small Vera Bradley backpack for myself - we'll see. DD has a Vera Bradley messenger bag as a book bag. Can we say "spoiled"?! (she's got impeccible taste, let me tell you. I raised a diva, for sure.:rolleyes1 )

I have lived in NYC all of my life and went to the Statue of Liberty for the first time last year. When you live somewhere, you don't want to do the touristy things.

Do you go to DL more often since it's much closer? I read in your tr that you drive to Orlando from Colorado. You are DEDICATED! I don't lnow how you do it.

I just checked the website for the Mary, Queen of the Universe Shrine. It looks beautiful. I think we may make a trip to attend mass there.

I love Coach

Oh and I agree, no fanny pack. Just not my thing. Plus I don't want to add weight to my waist area :rotfl:

Your daughter has great taste :thumbsup2 Divas rock!

Actually no... we have only done DL twice since 2004 but have done WDW once a year since 2005 so this will be our 4th year straight :thumbsup2 We drive because that's DH's one major request... Dedicated... I do what I gotta :thumbsup2 I am not sure how we do it... the kids are actually pretty good on the drive because they know where we are headed ;)

I'm sure one of the sites does have a ticket calculator. I'm probably just being too lazy to look :lmao:
There is....just look out there...

I LOVE me some mojitos!
Straight from the cocktail porn thread!
I want one of those strawberry mojitos. I had my first one 2 weeks ago, and am in LOVE!

The Shrine is not that far, and it is truly beautiful. The grounds are lovely, there is a pretty gift shop, and the church itself is awesome. It's kind of neat to be worshiping with all these people ON VACATION. :goodvibes

No added weight around the waist needed, for sure!!!!!!!! A man must have invented the "fanny pack".

Yes, at times, Divas Rock. :cutie: The joy of living with a 14 year old girl.... I tell hubby God bless him - a teen daughter and a pre-menopausal wife - good thing the DOG is a boy....

That is dedication! If that's the way your DH wants to go, driving is better than not going.

How are your kids on the ride home?

I think I'm going to add the Shrine into our trip.

:lmao: A man definitely invented the "fanny pack" It adds to the size of your fanny :rotfl:

I can't even stand myself when I'm PMSing. Your husband is a saint!

:goodvibes It is beautiful!

Can't wait to see it.
