In early December, I noticed the chocolate and m&m coated marshmallows on a mickey straw at Goofy's Candy company were nearly $5 each!!!

The price had doubled and they were no longer a snack credit!

I am HOPING this was a temporary thing because of the holiday season.

Are these back down to the $2 price now and are they a snack credit again??

I saw they are still listed on the snack credit list here, but 2 months ago they definitely were not.

Please tell me that after the holidays they are a snack credit and a cheap treat again!

I wonder if it was hurting the sales of the make your own marshmallow straws since it was so much cheaper and faster just to buy the pre-made? I know we bought the pre-made straws this year due to that. I wonder if the price also went up at the MK confectionary?

WOW!!! I like buying these at MK because they're an inexpensive treat (they were around $2.50 I think) and included a little souvenir. I love those chocolate covered marshmallows even if they are quite the sugar rush. No way am I paying $5 for them. I wonder if this is something specific to Goofys and maybe they're different than the ones in the parks?

They also had boxes of a few of them all packaged up and it was like $16 for 4 of them..something like that.
I am hoping that was just for the holiday but it was only the second week of December!

We had snack credits and ran to use them there. We got the toffee instead because we couldnt' even use the snack credits for them.

So, still wondering if someone has gotten the marshmallows on a mickey straw with m&ms as a snack credit in the new year??

OP...just got back 2/5 from a wonderful stay and I can say that the plain chocolate covered marshmellows (4 on the straw) at Goofy's were a snack credit. (was $3.95).

The ones with candies on them, like m&ms, cookies and such were not a snack credit and were right at $5 or a bit over.

I got the plain ones as these are what I like, and was very disappointed, they were stale.

1 chocolate pretzel rod with nothing on it was a snack credit too...a whopping $3.95 for 1 rod!!!

yep, that's exactly what I saw in early December. I was suprised that i didn't see a big thread on here about it (but i havent' checked the boards a lot lately). I can't believer they more than doubled the price and eliminated the decorated ones!
One more great value GONEEEEEEEEEEEEE.
